#JDNproject • Highest construction point reached! In Mechelen (Belgium), we are transforming the old industrial Inofer site to a sustainable living and working environment: MALT. In the presence of Mechelen Mayor Bart Somers, we symbolically planted a Christmas tree to celebrate the highest point of the construction works. After the winter construction leave, works will continue. • Codic, Stad Mechelen #MALT #Mechelen #Construction #SustainableLiving

#JDNproject • Mission accomplished! Our dredging vessel J.F.J. De Nul has successfully completed its scope of work in Port Hedland, Australia, for the Pilbara Ports Authority and has now departed. Since the project began in September, our team has created a deeper access channel, dredged two berth pockets and deepened a swing basin in the Port. We dredged up to one million cubic metres and pumped it via a floating pipeline into the designated land reclamation area, in accordance with the approved Environmental Management Plan. While the majority of the work has been completed, our personnel will remain on-site until the end of January. • #proudtobeJDN #dredging #PortHedland #Australia

#JDNproject • A big milestone for the Scheldt Tunnel in Antwerp: we are pumping in 150,000 m³ of water from the river Scheldt to submerge the first section of the tunnel. Our next step is to remove the old Scheldt dyke. This way, we’ll create more space for the river, resulting in a 24-hectare natural floodplain near the city. Further inland, we build a higher Scheldt dyke to enhance flood protection. • #smoothmobility #floodprotection #oosterweel #scheldetunnel #antwerp Together with our client Lantis and our partners from TM COTU: BESIX, DEME Group and STADSBADER CONTRACTORS NV

#DNAdenul • We are proud of our colleagues. Not only for what they do on a daily base at work, but mostly for who they really are. The past week they showed how how big their hearts are: 💪Almost 100 colleagues came to give blood during a Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen collection at our office in Aalst. A small gesture with a big impact. 💪75 colleagues and their families planted 2,000 trees for the first ever Jan De Nul forest in Belgium. Thanks to our partner Out of Use nv, who responsibly recycles our old IT equipment, we’re turning the proceeds into something impactful: a forest, in collaboration with Natuurpunt. A big shout-out to all of them! • #jandenul #proudtobejandenul

#DNAdenul • It is our ambition to future-proof the world for the next generations, tackling major challenges like the rising sea, biodiversity loss and the transition to renewable energy. #COP29 brings together almost every country on earth to tackle the climate crisis. That's why our colleagues Vicky Stratigaki and Carl Heiremans were invited to present: ✅Our contribution to the energy transition through offshore wind energy ✅Nature-based-Solutions like our #AquaForest project ✅Active restoration of oyster reefs through our #Belreefs project ✅Nature-Inclusive-Design for offshore energy infrastructure • #ProudtobeJDN #BoostBiodiversity #MinimizeEmissions #NatureInclusiveDesign #NatureBasedSolutions

#JDNproject • We built a 50-hectare mangrove island from scratch in Ecuador. Did you know mangroves can store up to four times more carbon than tropical forests? They serve as water filters, are hotspots for biodiversity and protect coasts from erosion. But since 1980, 50% of mangroves have disappeared in Ecuador. That's why we developed AquaForest, together with our partners from governments, industry and science. A blueprint for mangrove restoration worldwide, using locally dredged material to create an economic advantage. We can not to wait to use this blueprint for large-scale mangrove restoration globally. • #BoostBiodiversity #MangroveRestoration #COP29 #EcoEngineering This project is financially supported by Vlaamse overheid and IUCN through the ‘Flanders International Climate Action Programme’, an initiative coordinated by G-STIC: Global Sustainable Technology & Innovation Community and Departement Omgeving. Big thank you to our partners: , Mantis Consulting; South Pole, HAEDES, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Universiteit Antwerpen, Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, Fundacion Calisur.

#JDNproject • The construction of Antwerp's new prison reached its highest point last week, just one year after the first stone was laid. This milestone was the ideal occasion to put our teams on site in the spotlight. To celebrate, 300 of them gathered on site - and instead of the traditional maypole, we placed pumpkins on top of the highest building. A nod to the season and the project's quick progress. Starting April 2026, the new prison will house 440 inmates. The facility is designed to align with contemporary detention policies, providing a living environment that mirrors the 'normality' of the outside world as closely as possible. • #jandenul EEG GROUP Belgian Buildings Agency | Regie der Gebouwen | Régie des Bâtiments FOD Justitie SPF Justice

#JDNproject • We completed transport and installation of 106 wind turbine monopile foundations and an offshore substation in the German North Sea. With this milestone, our offshore floating installation vessel 'Les Alizés' has officially finished her first assignment: the Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 Offshore Wind Farms, developed by the leader in offshore wind Ørsted. Curious to know how we got there? Watch the project video below. • #energytransition #offshoreenergy #renewables #offshore #WindEnergy #GreenEnergy #Godewind #borkum

#MeetJDN • Last week – at Belgium's largest construction site – we prepared the next generation for a career in construction. 🛠️👷 100 Antwerp students rolled up their sleeves at our Scheldt tunnel site. They made formwork, could drive a mini-excavator and got to see different construction site machinery. All this under the guidance of our talented colleagues, who took on the role of teacher for a day. By introducing students to our world of construction, we make their theoretical lessons tangible. We let them experience what we do and what a technical job truly entails. To inspire them to pursue technical roles in the future, as they are ultimately our employees of tomorrow. 📷 Frederik Beyens, Stad Antwerpen • #jandenul #DNAdenul #Antwerp #JDNproject #Oosterweel
