As part of our flagship #BetterPlanet Campaign, a two-month sustainability initiative aimed at reducing our climate impact, we successfully conducted our third plantation drive yesterday. Held at TSWREI School, near our Genpact Warangal office, this event saw the plantation of over 1,000 native saplings, carefully selected to thrive in the local ecosystem and support biodiversity. The initiative aligns with our organization’s purpose: The relentless pursuit of a world that works better for people. This drive, guided by United Way of Hyderabad, reflects our unwavering commitment to creating a greener planet for future generations. With the enthusiastic participation of over 100 employees, including our Site Lead, JASTINE KIRAN KUMAR Ananthula, this initiative exemplifies the power of collaboration. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Mahinder and Mr. Shekhar from United Way Hyderabad, whose support and guidance were instrumental in the success of this event. We also thank the TSWREI School principal, Mr. Kumara Swamy for hosting us. A special note of appreciation goes to our leadership and CSR team, whose unwavering support and commitment make these initiatives possible. Their efforts not only drive sustainability but also foster a positive and engaged workplace culture, inspiring us all to contribute meaningfully to a better future. Together, we continue to work toward a sustainable future - one sapling at a time – driven by our shared purpose of making the world a better place for everyone! #Genpact #Betterplanet Aashish Manghnani Urvashi SinghAnkur Chadha Tuhin BandyopadhyayVilas Reddy ChudaSuman PrathuriJASTINE KIRAN KUMAR AnanthulaRicha Bharadwaj, SHRM-SCPLakshmipriya. Thrilled to partner with Synopsys Inc on the #WinningEdgeEducationForRuralCommunities project in Telangana! This initiative is transforming the lives of 700 tribal students by enhancing digital literacy, gender equality, and access to safe infrastructure. Together, we’re building a brighter future for rural communities. #EducationForAll #RuralDevelopment #CommunityImpact #CSR #DigitalLiteracy kanduri Ramulu Bhanu Prasad Addepalli
Synopsys Inc inaugurated the projct - 'Winning Edge Education for Rural Communities', in Mulugu district, Telangana yesterday. The project implemented by United Way of Hyderabad is designed to address the pressing needs of Chalvai & Venkatapuram Zilla parishad High Schools. These are interior villages close to the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border, and often lack traction to any development activities. This initiative primarily focuses on digital literacy, hygiene, safety, and gender equality in rural education. Positioned to equip schools with modern technology, improved learning materials, and essential infrastructure upgrades, such as safe drinking water and sanitary facilities, this engagement will impact 700 tribal students. We had Dr. Danasari Anasuya Seethakka, Hon’ble Minister for PR&RD, RWS, W&CW, Govt. of Telangana along with our CSR Champions Narendra Korlepara Nagarjuna V and Vamshi Krishna Poshetty for the inauguration. #synopsys4good #csr #education #communitydevelopment #ruraldevelopment #genderequality #technology #ruralindia Erin Guzman Nancy Wall Rituparna Mandal Sathyamoorthy R Rekha Srinivasan Bhushan Reddy Bharath Merugu kanduri Ramulu Bhanu Prasad Addepalli

Managing day to day requirements of family, earning an income, bringing up children, ensuring they go to schools, caring for their health and development needs, inculcating values and good behaviour in them, caring for elderly at home, managing relationships with neighbours and relatives (building social capital) is the life of most women. Does this leave any time for upgrading skills, getting additional education or building networks that help them grow in career to the fullest potential and contribute to the economy? Maybe not. This is the truth of working women in both formal and informal workplaces. In their pursuit to find a solution for low-income workers, United Way of Northern New Jersey leads a movement focused on supporting ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) through data, tools, and best practices for equitable solutions. The program helps ALICE households to manage situations where they have to make tough choices such as paying for education of children v/s rent for home. We at United Way of Hyderabad have always been working with women who are ready to get into workforce but our engagement with them after employment is limited. We realise the need for us to actively engage them and undertake programs that will help them do well in their workplace and gain financial stability. United Way of Northern New Jersey has been gracious in offering all the technical support and handhold us in this process. Happy to have like-minded people and organisations join us in this journey. We hope to get support from the Indian diaspora living in New Jersey to play a significant role in this combined effort of helping ALICE Women both in India and United States. Thanks to Kiran Gaudioso, New Jersey Lt. Governor Tahesha Way, Counsel General US Consulate Hyderabad- Jennifer Larson, Kiranmai Pendyala and Kamal Krishnan P S for the support.
