STS Group, headquartered in The Sultanate of Oman, is a leading multidisciplinary contracting group specializing in Construction, Fabrication and Maintenance services for the Energy and Industrial sectors. STS was established in 1980 as a member of The Oman Oilfield Supply Centre L.L.C. (OOSC) group of companies, a leading Omani Conglomerate, to provide specialist oil & gas field maintenance services. Today, we operate across the MENA region and undertake a diverse portfolio of projects in several areas of the Oil & Gas Industry such as Field Development, Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Gas Treatment and Compression, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Tank Farms, Pipelines, Flowlines, Onplot and Offplot Facilities for the leading Oil & Gas companies. Our in-house capabilities encompass Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines with dedicated teams serving each of these discipline areas. The mix of intellectual capital, investment in technology, local knowledge, industrial facilities, fabrication workshops as well as our large fleet of sophisticated construction equipment gives us a competitive edge. We have a proven track record of maintaining high safety standards across the business and have consistently achieved Lost Time Injury frequencies well below the industry average. In recognition of our dedication to occupational health and safety, we have received several letters of appreciation and safety awards. As a reflection of our international quality standards, construction and project management techniques, STS holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 29001:2020, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification. The STS Group, headquartered in the Sultanate of Oman, has announced its partnership with the Oman Rugby team as they participate in the prestigious 2024 Touch Rugby World Cup. This premier event will feature the top teams from around the world, and Oman has qualified for the Men's Open division, set to take place in July 2024 in Nottingham, England. To help make this dream a reality, STS has partnered with the Oman Rugby team, providing uniforms for both travel and gameplay. This partnership not only facilitates the team's participation but also promotes the growth and development of touch rugby in Oman. In line with the company’s commitment to enhance its role in the Corporate Social Responsibility realm, STS has been in the forefront of supporting sports teams and providing opportunities to talented Omani youth to develop and showcase their sporting talent. STS Group Wins BAPCO Refining Annual HSE Award 2023 for Best HSE Performance in Shutdown and Routine Maintenance Services Contract. STS Group was awarded the prestigious BAPCO Refining Annual HSE Award in the Large Contractor category presented by Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, CEO Bapco Refining for the year 2023, outperforming around 60 qualified competitors. This accolade is bestowed on contractors, who consistently provide the highest levels of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance throughout the contract period. STS achieved this honour by overcoming a number of challenges, including the deployment of high percentage of short-service employees due to shutdown demands, working along with multiple contractors with varying safety cultures, ensuring incident free T&I’s during peak summers, SIMOPS, working shutdowns in hazardous environments, performing hot work in confined spaces, working at height, working with energised equipment, handling hazardous chemicals/ toxic substances, and performing complex lifting operations. Despite these obstacles, STS maintained an exemplary HSE record, with no lost-time incidents from the start of the contract, demonstrating devotion and commitment to its HSE objectives.
