The Embassy of Dar es Salaam Health Unit did a great job bringing awareness to early detection of breast cancer. The health unit held an early detection course and provided free breast cancer screening examinations in conjunction with the local insurance provider for the Locally Employed Staff. They didn't stop there! They also took to the streets and laced up their tennis shoes for a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. Other Embassy personnel couldn’t let the health unit be the only ones sounding the alarm for a cure and joined in on the wear pink day.
