🌟 Industry Week: inspiring the next generation! 🌟 On December 5th during Industry Week, we had the pleasure, in partnership with the Elles bougent association and members of the Chevron Oronite Women's Employee Network France, to engage with middle and high school students in the Normandy and Paris areas. Our aim was to promote engineering and technical careers for young women. Our engineers and technicians, Cassandra GOUBERT, Stéphanie Deschamps, Axelle Chazeau, Valérie Dubuc, Flavie LÉON, Léopoldine Colin, Laurent Krummenacker, Marie-Claire LALLEMAND, Julie Madubost and Caroline MONTENOT, shared their passions, backgrounds, and experiences. This enabled students to discover the many different professions in our industry. We hope to broaden their career perspectives and offer them a new vision of technical and scientific studies. Thank you to all the participants and speakers for the fruitful exchanges. Volvo developed this specification to help improve the fuel economy of its engines and deliver longer drain intervals. Oils meeting the VDS-5 specification are formulated with a powerful additive package to help prevent oil degradation caused by oxidation. “We are very pleased to add this critical claim to one of our high-performance products, enabling our customers to benefit from a durable, efficient, and reliable solution that helps protect end user hardware. The 5W-30 formulation that has obtained the Volvo approval also comes with multiple other OEM approvals when blended with PARATONE® 24EX viscosity modifier. With re-refined base oils (RRBO) gaining traction as a sustainable alternative to traditional base oils, there is an increased interest and adoption to use RRBO in additives/lubricants.
