Through the D51 Foundation, we at Chevron were honored to help sponsor the FIRST Lego League Challenge Qualifier Tournament at Fruita Monument High School! FIRST Lego League is a STEM-based robotics program whose funding enables 42 district teams to participate in an after-school STEM club. Recently, over 300 students, ranging from grades 4 through 8, got to compete using their STEM and teamwork skills to design, build, and program robots to complete specific tasks inspired by this year’s theme,“Submerged." The passion and talent of these students remind us why supporting education and creativity is so important.
