It is crunch time for us...only four days until we start distributing Angel Tree gifts to more than 7,000 children and we still have nearly 200 that have yet to be adopted. Please help us make Christmas magic happen for these kids. Adopt an angel! https://lnkd.in/epGmk2f5. All gifts must be received by Monday, December 16.

LinkedIn! Christmas is just around the bend and, as such, I just wanted to share this information with you, #SamararitansPurse has a program called #OperationChristmasChild, that packs shorboxs for children of families that can't afford to get them Christmas gifts. You can pack them or you can pay to have them packed. They will send you free resources such as, labes, posters, flyers and inspirational videos to pack and send. This could be a #WholeFamilyProject that will help cultivate a humanistic nature in your children. #GivingBackToTheCommunity is one of the main principles of Christmas. What a fun way to do so as a family ! OR Have a #PackingParty for a #CommunityProject and maximize the boxes you can suppoly! IF you prefer to do it on your lonesome, there is no judgment. Sometimes, it is good to be anonymous. You have the option to build a box or have one built online at a cost of just $25 per child. You can be the difference in a child's life this Christmas. With these boxes, you offer them love, hope, friends to play with and, overall, support in the form of a healhier, happier childhood, and therefore, a brighter future. The power of a smiling child is in your hands:) Won't you make a difference by showing them that #ChristmasIs4EVERYBODY! #BeTheHope you wanted someone to be for you. Welcome to June! Here are three things you can do this month to advocate for the girl child: 1. *Write Encouraging Letters*: Reach out to girls in your community or through organizations that support girl children. Write letters of encouragement, letting them know they are capable, strong, and valued. 2. *Support Education*: Donate books, school supplies, or even your time to tutor or mentor girls. Education is a powerful tool for empowerment, and your contribution can make a significant difference in their lives. 3. *Raise Awareness*: Use your voice on social media or in your local community to highlight issues affecting girls. Share stories, facts, and ways others can get involved in supporting and advocating for the rights and opportunities of girl children. Today is Giving Tuesday! At the Alex Sebahie Never Back Down Foundation, we are committed to turning tragedy into purpose and never backing down in our efforts to support the community. We give back through sponsorships, partnerships, and initiatives that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. • We support families in need. • We create opportunities for students and student-athletes. • We partner with local organizations to host events like blood drives. This Giving Tuesday, we’re focused on bringing joy to children who might otherwise go without this Christmas. Every effort counts, and together, we can create moments of hope and happiness for those who need it most. Where are you giving today? Are you giving at work, at home, or in your community? As it says in the Bible: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). Let’s inspire each other to give generously, whether it’s our time, resources, or talents. Share your story below—let’s spread the spirit of giving and make a lasting impact together. #GivingTuesday #CommunitySupport #NeverBackDown #GivingBack Alex Sebahie Never Back Down

TV shows often reflect real-life challenges, including those in the world of gift-giving. From Silicon Valley, How I Met Your Mother and Friends, we see issues like how to handle unwanted gifts, the importance of recipients knowing who gave them a gift, and how to find gifts that recipients truly desire. Then the question is "What if everyone had a constantly refreshing wishlist that you could find without asking?" This way, anyone would always know exactly what to get for someone they love. This is few factors why we created Dudu, a gift registry platform designed to simplify gift-giving. With Dudu, you can: - Avoid giving unwanted gifts. - Give recipients information about who gave them the gift(s). - Enhance the gift-giving experience for both parties. Dudu is currently accessible through our website dudu.co.id. Let's make gift-giving more meaningful with Dudu! ©Silicon Valley ©How I Met Your Mother ©Friends #GiftRegistry #GiftGiving #SiliconValley #HowIMetYourMother #Friends #Dudu

🎥 Take a quick moment to watch this powerful 1-minute video about Grassroots Grocery’s Deliver Double campaign for Giving Tuesday! Learn how you can make double the impact this season. 💚 #GivingTuesday #DeliverDouble #GrassrootsGrocery
This Giving Tuesday, I'm in awe of what we've built together at Grassroots Grocery—and even more excited about where we're headed. What started in my classroom as a middle school teacher in the Bronx has grown into something extraordinary. Every Saturday, in an empty parking lot in the Bronx, something magical happens. Neighbors show up for neighbors. Families show up for families. Volunteers, old and new, work shoulder to shoulder — moving 15,000 pounds of fresh produce to 1,500 households in Harlem and the Bronx — all before lunch. It's not just about the food—it's about the connections, the joy, and the power of a community united by one simple idea: neighbors helping neighbors. The need is growing, and so must we. Only one in four of our food insecure neighbors can access the help that’s available to them. That's why we're launching our boldest plan yet: the Deliver Double Campaign: 🚛 Double the produce. 🚗 Double the drivers. 🤝 Double the community reach. And thanks to $125,000 in matching funds, every single dollar you give until the ball drops will go twice as far to fuel this movement. Check out this video to see the magic in action—and help us Deliver Double for New York City. To every volunteer, every donor, every neighbor who's been part of this journey: thank you. Whether you've joined a Produce Party with your family, group, or school, or participated in a corporate sandwich race, this is your story too. Remember my previous post that talked about the importance of giving gifts to children for Christmas? I went ahead to purchase gifts for my children on Christmas eve while I tucked them by their bedsides. They were so excited to see their gifts on Christmas morning and I was so fulfilled❤️ However I've learnt a valuable lesson - that the littlest things make the children happy 😊. When we invest in our children's emotional development, every other thing comes in handy 🤝. When we prioritize their feelings, we raise confident and self-reliant children, which in turn has a positive impact on all other areas, resulting in raising a total child 🌟. Gifts are not only essential, but the motive behind them is also important 🎁. It's not in the amount, but how you are able to get involved in the giving ❤️. Another important gift is your presence and intentionality 🤗. This will go a long way in helping us bond more, creating long-lasting memories, and helping us understand the children better 📚. I hope I've been able to convince you, and not confuse you, that your time is also a very valuable gift 🙏. How do you intend to prioritize spending quality time with your children as an educator (pupils) or parent,🎉 Let's keep the conversation alive and spread some holiday cheer and support one another in our mission to nurture young minds! 🌈 I am Mrs. O, your child's best buddy 👫. #AdventureWithMrsO #YourChildsBestBuddy #NurturingYoungMinds #ParentingWithLove 💕
