Christmas is just around the bend and, as such, I just wanted to share this information with you, #SamararitansPurse has a program called #OperationChristmasChild, that packs shorboxs for children of families that can't afford to get them Christmas gifts. You can pack them or you can pay to have them packed. They will send you free resources such as, labes, posters, flyers and inspirational videos to pack and send. This could be a #WholeFamilyProject that will help cultivate a humanistic nature in your children. #GivingBackToTheCommunity is one of the main principles of Christmas. What a fun way to do so as a family ! OR Have a #PackingParty for a #CommunityProject and maximize the boxes you can suppoly! IF you prefer to do it on your lonesome, there is no judgment. Sometimes, it is good to be anonymous. You have the option to build a box or have one built online at a cost of just $25 per child. You can be the difference in a child's life this Christmas. With these boxes, you offer them love, hope, friends to play with and, overall, support in the form of a healhier, happier childhood, and therefore, a brighter future. Here are three things you can do this month to advocate for the girl child: 1. *Write Encouraging Letters*: Reach out to girls in your community or through organizations that support girl children. Write letters of encouragement, letting them know they are capable, strong, and valued. 2. *Support Education*: Donate books, school supplies, or even your time to tutor or mentor girls. Education is a powerful tool for empowerment, and your contribution can make a significant difference in their lives. 3. *Raise Awareness*: Use your voice on social media or in your local community to highlight issues affecting girls. Share stories, facts, and ways others can get involved in supporting and advocating for the rights and opportunities of girl children. Remember my previous post that talked about the importance of giving gifts to children for Christmas? I went ahead to purchase gifts for my children on Christmas eve while I tucked them by their bedsides. They were so excited to see their gifts on Christmas morning and I was so fulfilled❤️ However I've learnt a valuable lesson - that the littlest things make the children happy 😊. When we invest in our children's emotional development, every other thing comes in handy 🤝. When we prioritize their feelings, we raise confident and self-reliant children, which in turn has a positive impact on all other areas, resulting in raising a total child 🌟. Gifts are not only essential, but the motive behind them is also important 🎁. It's not in the amount, but how you are able to get involved in the giving ❤️. Another important gift is your presence and intentionality 🤗. This will go a long way in helping us bond more, creating long-lasting memories, and helping us understand the children better 📚. I hope I've been able to convince you, and not confuse you, that your time is also a very valuable gift 🙏.
