I’ve done a few of these lunch and learn sessions with green teams to help give them a background to what works and more importantly what doesn’t work when it comes to sustainability. What’s most interesting is always the Q&A at the end where real problems and real solutions get discussed. If it is of interest, please do just let the team know. #GreenTeams
Does your green team do a lunch and learn session? Then this might be of interest to them… just DM us for more. 😜

I am doing writing exercises, so buckle up :) (context in the original post - not clickbait, but I am sharing opportunities from both organizers and ticket buyers perspective so separate-ish) Event fam with who're producing these big tent industry events with wide topic coverage - my two cents. If your event attendees are on small teams, but only one or two titles coming through, it may be worth exploring opportunities to provide value to other members of their team. What does an integrated, cost effective, "team retreat" experience look like for your event? Turn 1 attendee into 4 or 10(!)? There is an opportunity - one that may have been tried and failed plenty of times, but it can't ALWAYS fail, right? Lean into the package pricing for teams. Diversify your content and engagement strategies for the top 4-5 titles most commonly seen on these teams, nurture sub communities within your attendees based on responsibilities on the ground level of a business. Create the space, be smart about programming and scheduling, and you create a completely unique, but clearly integrated experience between the teams on their retreats and you, their host, in ways that capitalize on what already exists with your primary event. Your event might be the setting of their favorite team story. The margin might be a bit tighter on this type of experience for 5-10% of ticket holders, but guest count, floor time, and face time are meaningful metrics for vendors and these groups of attendees are in go-mode. Also - go slow and don't wreck your event by leaning to hard into this to quickly. Respect what you've got working for you. And let the folks who want to piggyback piggyback in peace if they so chose :-)

If you have a small, distributed team (<10), and you want to bring folks together IRL, find an established industry event that your whole team could benefit from attending. Carving out time before/during/after that event and hosting a team retreat that piggybacks on the established event could be a way to maximize your budget while checking off some of the key goals of getting together in-person.

Celebrating the first half of 2024 with Team BollyFit Active this afternoon was a significant milestone, reflecting the collective energy, commitment, and resilience of the entire team. This moment of reflection allows us to acknowledge not just the breakthroughs and achievements, but also the challenges that have shaped our journey. Each success is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and unity within the team, while each challenge has been an opportunity for growth and learning. As we look ahead to the next half of 2024, the focus is on building upon these experiences—refining our strategies, setting new goals, and embracing innovation. The foundation we've laid in the first half of the year equips us to approach the coming months with renewed energy and a clear vision. Together, we will continue to push boundaries, inspire one another, and create even more impactful moments that resonate with our community. The journey ahead is filled with potential, and with the same dedication and teamwork, there is no limit to what we can achieve. https://lnkd.in/emSKvEhn

Problem statement: the hardest part of human trial research is finding humans to take part. Our approach: fall in love with the problem, not the (old and tired) solution. We set up Research VIP to inform, excite and engage with volunteers about the many human trials we are conducting at Massey University. My team of students and interns (from around the world) are doing a wonderful job falling in love with the problem! Thank you for your passion, your energy and your commitment to help postgrad students complete their studies, reducing my stress levels for completing trials, and ultimately helping Kiwis lead healthier lives. 🌟 Meet Our Team 🌟 At Research VIP, we’re more than just colleagues, we’re family. ❤️ Ajmol Ali, who values strong connections, has always emphasized the importance of building a family-like atmosphere where everyone’s ideas and contributions are valued. Beyond work, we strengthen our connections through shared activities like paddleboarding, pub quizzes, and enjoying drinks together, creating lasting memories as a team. As Henry Ford said, “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.” This quote reflects our philosophy: by supporting one another and working toward shared goals, we achieve greatness. 👥 From left to right: Max Pansier, Robyn Prince, Krutika Nanavati, Sam Murphy, Jessamie Lindley, Nell Powell, Lucy Twigger, and Lara Tolson.

After 4,5 decades of working on sustainable development, it is time for stepping back and developing other talents and interests. I will do so and leave most of my work behind, except for two very relevant and innovative topics. I am sharing the flashback video shown at my farewell reception last week. It does contain an invitation to link up to the implementation of these two topics. Thanks for connecting and joining our shared search for sustainable development. 😎 👋 https://lnkd.in/eiRktyW5
