**Keeping the Festive Spirit Alive All Year Long** This weekend we had our branch holiday party at Rawhide. (WOW! The holiday lights are incredible.) Listening to the music and spending time with team mates felt like a warm hug, and it motivates me to be kinder, more grateful, and more generous. It reminded me of how the holiday spirit can inspire us to bring more positivity into our thoughts, words, and actions, helping us crush our goals with a joyful heart. But how do we keep that feeling all year? Here are some tips that work for me: 1. **Practice Gratitude Daily:** I start or end my day by mentally listing things I'm thankful for. Even challenges: they are an opportunity to SOLVE, to bring value to our partnerships. 2. **Stay Connected:** Spend time with friends, family, and colleagues who uplift me. 3. **Celebrate Small Wins:** I celebrate achievements, no matter how small. 4. **Create a Positive Environment:** I surround myself with people that make me happy. 5. **Give Back:** I engage in acts of kindness throughout the year. By integrating these into our lives, we can keep that warm, festive feeling alive all year round. How do you make your dog part of the holiday fun? It's holiday time with travel, family, friends, and festivities. How will you include your dog in your activities and ensure he’s safe, not bored, and stays out of trouble? Here in the southern hemisphere, it’s summer and sunshine, so lots of outside activities and playtime. How is your dog going to join in the fun?   Holidays in the northern hemisphere are different and mostly spent indoors because of the weather. But she’ll still need exercise and ways to get rid of extra energy – which can be a problem, particularly if you’re visiting an unfamiliar place. Guests may also upset your dog’s routine. Do you have ways to play indoors with her (if she’s not a Great Dane!) or other tips to keep her entertained without getting in the way during the festivities?

With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone to prioritize safety during the celebrations. While it's a time for fun and festivities, it's essential to make responsible choices to ensure that everyone enjoys the holiday safely. Here are a few friendly reminders: 1. Plan Ahead: If you're planning to celebrate, make sure you have a plan in place for getting home safely. Arrange for a designated driver, use rideshare services, or public transportation. 2. Stay Hydrated: Whether you're enjoying a pint of green beer or not, staying hydrated is crucial. Alternate alcoholic beverages with water and pace yourself throughout the day or evening. 3. Watch Out for Each Other: Keep an eye out for your friends and colleagues. If someone appears to have had too much to drink, offer assistance in getting them home safely. 4. Avoid Drinking and Driving: It's never worth the risk. If you've been drinking, please don't get behind the wheel. There are plenty of alternatives available to ensure you get home safely. Let's make sure this St. Patrick's Day is remembered for all the right reasons. Have a fantastic time celebrating, but please remember to prioritize safety above all else. Clear communication is key, and an auto-reply provides reassurance that emails aren’t being ignored,they’re just on holiday mode!
