When you step into an auto repair shop, the first thing you expect to see are cars. While you’ll undoubtedly find vehicles from some of the world’s most prestigious auto brands at Brooks Motor Cars, there’s something a little more unexpected waiting for you. At Brooks Motor Cars, it is common for a team member to have their own personal RC car. This quirky tradition began years ago, sparked by Dan, the VP of Operations, whose passion for miniature cars led him to build a racetrack behind the shop. Today, you’ll often spot employees racing their RC cars during breaks, their faces lit up with that same joyful excitement you’d expect from a kid on a Saturday afternoon. It’s just one of the unique ways the team at Brooks Motor Cars combines their love for vehicles, big and small, with a sense of fun and camaraderie. #nocompromise

Here's Why US Automakers Don't Sell Sedans Anymore: Before you learn the reasons each specific company axed its sedans, why people actually buy cars needs to be explored. On July 17, 1914, John and Horace Dodge founded the Dodge Brothers Motor Vehicle Company, marking a significant milestone in the history of American automobile manufacturing. Prior to establishing their own company, the Dodge brothers were known for their expertise in precision engineering and their business acumen, having successfully run a bicycle and machine shop. Their venture into the automotive industry commenced as suppliers of high-quality components to other car manufacturers, most notably Ford, with whom they had a significant contract. The establishment of their own company was driven by a vision to create vehicles that stood out for their durability, reliability, and engineering excellence. In the first few years, Dodge Brothers vehicles gained a reputation for their quality and innovation, quickly establishing the company as a major player in the automotive industry. The introduction of all-steel body cars and pioneering features such as 12-volt electrical systems set new standards in car manufacturing, propelling Dodge to become the second-largest car manufacturer in the United States by 1920. The legacy of John and Horace Dodge is not only marked by their contribution to automotive engineering but also by their impact on the manufacturing industry, setting the foundation for what would become one of the most iconic American automobile brands. #milestonesinhistory #automotivehistory #DodgeBrothers #engineeringexcellence #automotiveinnovation #AmericanIcons #precisionengineering #carmanufacturingrevolution

Disappointment with the High Cost of Ford Car Parts & Repairs😭😭 Dear Ford Motor Company ,💌 I have been a proud owner of a Ford Focus 1.6 TDI 😍for quite some time now. I absolutely love my car and have always appreciated the quality and reliability it’s provided me over the years. However, I am deeply frustrated with the rising costs of car parts and repairs. Recently, I encountered issues with my car that require repairs, but the prices for both the parts and labor have skyrocketed. Unfortunately, I simply don’t have the funds to afford these repairs or, even worse, to buy another car. I don’t want to part with my Ford Focus—it’s been a great companion and selling it is the last thing I want to do. I understand that quality comes with a price, but when essential repairs become unaffordable for loyal customers, it puts us in a very difficult position. I would urge Ford to reconsider the pricing of parts and repair services, making them more accessible to those of us who love our cars and want to continue driving them. I look forward to hearing from the company about possible solutions or support. Sincerely, Ionescu Ghiorghita Loyal Ford Focus Owner #CustomerFeedback #FordFocus #CarRepairs #AffordableRepairs #AutoParts #FordCustomer #LoyalCustomer #CarMaintenance #VehicleOwnership #CarProblems #FordCommunity #HelpFordCustomers Ford Motor Company

At Dick’s Automotive, every car we service goes through a test drive because we wouldn’t let it leave the lot unless we’d trust our own mothers, sons, cousins—our entire family—driving it. To us, every customer is part of our extended family, and that means ensuring your vehicle isn’t just fixed; it’s ready to safely carry your loved ones wherever they need to go. Our test drives are more than just a quick spin—they’re a thorough check to make sure everything is running perfectly. From the way it handles on the road to the sound of the engine, we pay attention to every detail. If it’s not good enough for our family, it’s not good enough for yours. Because at Dick’s Automotive, family isn’t just who you’re related to—it’s everyone who trusts us with their vehicle. And we take that trust seriously, every single time. 🚗💪 #DicksAutomotive #TestedAndTrusted #ClovisAutoRepair #FamilyFirst #SafeOnTheRoad https://lnkd.in/gKcAnrUe

Other Guys love to make fun of my truck.... But it’s not the size of the Truck it’s how you drive it that matters... Being in construction of course everyone likes to give each other a hard time Especially when it comes to what another man drives And my truck of choice is a Honda Ridgeline Sure its a smaller sized truck but Bigger isn't always better You see I spend hours and hours everyday behind the wheel I have to run from jobsite to jobsite checking on things I am constantly driving and looking lots and land I need a vehicle that has →Smooth Ride →Great MPG →Versatility of a truck People will always "know better" than you when it comes to anything Someone will always have an outside opinion but They may not know your reason for choosing a certain vehicle or why you made a certain decision. When it comes to wealth creation there are vehicles of all shapes and sizes There are some that are fast, some that are slow Some are reliable & some are not But at the end of the day You have to be the one that picks your vehicle It needs to fit your list of criteria so that When someone eventually tells you That there way is better You can stand solid in your decision. If you want to know more about Real Estate as a Wealth vehicle shoot me a DM P.S.-Please Repost If you like average sized Trucks

Ryan Walkinshaw does not do many interviews. And, like his father, the late Tom Walkinshaw, it's always a tough chat - although without the threat of physical violence if you ask the wrong question. Finally, there was time during the #Bathurst 1000, and Ryan was open and welcoming as we discussed the state of play - and the future - for the Walkinshaw Group. Not many people are aware that it's now the biggest automotive company in Australia, employing 1500 people, building more than 12,000 vehicles a years and working with General Motors, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, RAM, Toyota and Volkswagen. The whole story is at CarExpert.com.au, but here are some of my favourite quotes: "We’ve obviously grown a lot from when we were doing Holden Special Vehicles. We had around 300 employees and we’ve grown to around 1500. So huge growth here,” he said. “And we’ve gone from producing 2500 units a year to over 13,000. “That’s quite special, to have grown a car company in Australia when all the other manufacturers have been closing their doors. “We’ve come a long way from when we were simply doing HSV for Holden. I’d say we’re one of the best – if not the best – design, engineering and manufacturing businesses for niche automotive programs in the world. “Now we’re working with multiple different brands, doing uplift work and also doing left- to right-hand drive conversions for most of the largest automotive manufacturers on the planet.” Ryan Walkinshaw might live in Monaco, but his roots are clearly in Australia. And he sees a big future for the family company. “What we’re already seeing is a lot of our customers are coming up with new programs in EV and hydrogen that we haven’t done previously, and we’re working on those sorts of things. “For us, you’re going to be working on products that have been developed by our customers. The motor manufacturers are never going to run out of products. “We’ll just be working on different products in the future than we work on today.” If you want the whole story: https://lnkd.in/gr3WzaBZ
