Disappointment with the High Cost of Ford Car Parts & Repairs😭😭 Dear Ford Motor Company ,💌 I have been a proud owner of a Ford Focus 1.6 TDI 😍for quite some time now. I absolutely love my car and have always appreciated the quality and reliability it’s provided me over the years. However, I am deeply frustrated with the rising costs of car parts and repairs. Recently, I encountered issues with my car that require repairs, but the prices for both the parts and labor have skyrocketed. Unfortunately, I simply don’t have the funds to afford these repairs or, even worse, to buy another car. I don’t want to part with my Ford Focus—it’s been a great companion and selling it is the last thing I want to do. I understand that quality comes with a price, but when essential repairs become unaffordable for loyal customers, it puts us in a very difficult position. I would urge Ford to reconsider the pricing of parts and repair services, making them more accessible to those of us who love our cars and want to continue driving them. I look forward to hearing from the company about possible solutions or support. Sincerely, Ionescu Ghiorghita Loyal Ford Focus Owner #CustomerFeedback #FordFocus #CarRepairs #AffordableRepairs #AutoParts #FordCustomer #LoyalCustomer #CarMaintenance #VehicleOwnership #CarProblems #FordCommunity #HelpFordCustomers Ford Motor Company

Like you, I'm also having a grumpy Monday after watching the game yesterday. In between the disappointment, fans are shown commercials and Ford caught my attention. Ford (like it's competitors) have slickly packaged an ELECTRIC FUTURE of driving by boasting the consumer now has a "choice" of how they want their vehicle powered (gas engine, hybrid, or EV). Let's cut to the chase....EV enthusiasts who want a Ford have the choice between a weird $70,000 Mustang EV and a $100,000 EV truck. This is like going to an ethnic restaurant at the very end of the menu a hamburger and man and cheese are listed as options. Why? As an ex-Ford engineer, I lived and breathed for many years the enthusiasm and motivation behind a strong product line. There was an overt competition back then versus GM and Chrysler and we Ford-people vehemently shook our fists at anything on four wheels that threatened the vehicle programs we toiled over. Consumer was KING. Product had to be perfect! Ford has printed signs EVERYWHERE to keep employees focused on "Job 1" and QUALITY. (My namesake dad led an elite team of quality engineers at Ford. RIP!) Also, I own not one, but TWO plug-in hybrids (one of them a Ford) so I don't speak with forked tongue. Works for me. Who is behind the phantasm specter future of a EV landscape in totality where we joyously charge them while we sleep and then apparently go camping? And when we watch these commercials carefully, they have 28 ICE choices, a few hybrids and a couple Rolex watches that make up their EV army. Can we get back to making products people want? Hmm? https://lnkd.in/gjva4vWu #EV #automotive #automotiveindustry

It began on Aug. 17, 1904. Although barely one year old, Ford took its first step outside of the U.S. into Canada when Henry Ford and Gordon McGregor inked a deal that created the Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited. Production began in Walkerville, now Windsor, Ontario and 17 employees built 117 cars, including Ford Model C and Model B, in the first year. As the country’s longest-established automaker, Ford of Canada is proud to have employed thousands of Canadians over the years and produced everything from cars and trucks to vans and SUVs, not to mention Ford V8 engines. “Although 120 years in Canada is an incredible milestone, what makes me proud is the innovation and determination it took to get here,” said Bev Goodman, president and CEO, Ford of Canada. “That hard work has made the Ford F-Series the best-selling pickup in Canada for 58 consecutive years and has made Ford the best-selling automotive brand in the country for 15 years running.” “The heart that has powered this organization for 120 years and will propel us into the future is our people,” said Goodman. “Our amazing Canadian team, along with our network of Dealers, have always been at the core of our success and longevity.” Every Ford rolling down a Canadian road reflects 120 years of experience, knowledge, and innovation. Looking forward, we’ll continue to be here for Canadians in the decades and centuries ahead – every step of the way. Building trust, one kilometre, one moment, one Ford, at a time. The Big 1️⃣ … As my first year at Lookers Ford Chelmsford came to a close, I wanted to shout about my first E-Transit handovers in August. Both will mark (what I feel) to be a massive turning point in not only my sales career, but the automotive industry as we know it. 💱 The industry is changing, and Ford is evolving with it 💱 But what does that mean for my customers? 🤔 1. Well, firstly they were both eligible for the Government Grant of £5,000, which comes off the vehicle price (on top of any other discounts!) 2. Lower running costs – which means more money for their business! The price of electric Charging VS Diesel fuel is one of the most significant considerations. 3. Reduced maintenance costs – less parts are needed to be serviced – therefore less servicing charges. 4. And if that wasn’t enough of an incentive…maybe it was the stellar customer service they received! 😉 🏆 If you're thinking of an electric vehicle, why not give me a call to see the full range of Hybrid and EV vehicles available to you and your fleet? 📲 Call me on 01245 247 210 💻 Email me on hannahshawe@lookers.co.uk #Lookersford #fordpro #fordcommercial #transit #etransit #netzerohero #callme #email

Car manufacturers and dealers frequently look for ways to entice buyers into purchasing new and used vehicles. In many instances, car sellers offer promotional packages that include a powertrain warranty designed to alleviate buyers’ anxiety about repair costs. These packages can be attractive to buyers, but it is often difficult to understand what they cover. Here's what you should know: https://lnkd.in/evkq68zp #LemonLaw #Auto #Cars

Ford CEO Jim Farley I am simply amazed at the utter lack of imagination and the will to make things right in this CEO. Perhaps it would be better if Farley takes Ford out of the continent completely. Simply because his vision doesn't have the balls to compete. As a loyal Ford customer, I am appalled by his statement that he has had enough with "boring cars". Sorry Jim, you made them boring by not keeping up with market and using cheap materials. And of course, wrong planning. Example: both Focus and Kuga share the same platform and interior. Yet made in two different sites. Why? Hyundai makes 3 x models at the same plant in CR. And Focus and Kuga still bring you profits, whereas your EV venture is in the minus. Wake up and make good efficient cars that people want, not what you want to sell to people. Or go and buy all cars yourself! Keeping the stock price up is all you care about. Not what people want, even the loyal customers. What a shame! Keep Ford in the US; but it wont survive for long on trucks alone!
