Today is a reminder to check in with those around us, to ask, "R U OK?" – a simple yet powerful question that can calm turbulent waters. Life is like the ocean. Some days, the sun shines, and the waves are gentle, inviting us to ride along with ease. But on other days, the sea becomes stormy, the waves crash relentlessly, and it feels like we're being pulled under. During those times, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the currents. Just like sailors navigating rough waters, we all need a lifeline – someone to throw us a buoy or steer us back to calmer shores. Asking "R U OK?" can be that lifeline. You never know who might be struggling to stay afloat beneath the surface, battling their own internal tides. So today, let’s be the lighthouse guiding others safely through the storm. Whether it’s a word of encouragement or lending an ear, let's help one another ride life's waves with strength and compassion. #mentalhealth #ruokay #mentalhealthmatters

And so fast, here we are again, and it's this time of the year, midway from #XMas to #NewYear, where - at least for me - all slows down, allowing us to take a break and reflect, while the energy for a fresh start into 2024 already can be felt (or at least the calories, aquired). 🍪🎂 Looking back, for me, 2023 can be characterized by one word: Unpredictably.🚪‼️ Certainly, this has an element of exhaustion to accommodate various changes in both professional as well as personal life - so, the resting now is very much appreciated 🎄🎅🙏 However, on the other hand, this meant for me, that there were various and numerous positive surprises, I wouldn't have imagined to happen during 2023 such fast or not at all. To highlight one in particular: Meeting and working with new people and/or more closely both within #LYB as well on advisory side. 🤝🎁🔥 Aside from these factual items & changes, what (continues to) amaze(s) me is HOW these changes and challenges have been positively taken on by my #Family and my #Team, likewise. Turning challenges into chances, taking backlashes as learing opportunities, or additional projects as a mean to reflect on priorities and re-think the current state and way of approaching an ever-changing to-do-list 🤩🤩🤩 Therefore, when I can wish for "one" thing for the #NewYear, it is the continuation of this energy, health and positivity to be able to encounter new challenges also in the next year - as the only constant is change itself #PantaRhei ! 💪💪💪 Wish you all a peaceful start into #NewYear2024!
May this Christmas season fill your home with warmth, light and joy.

Today, I had the opportunity to hear from the Honorable Mike Johnson, U.S. Speaker of the House. He used a metaphor that resonated with me. Johnson talked about what he did in Louisiana as a kid when a hurricane struck. Whenever the skies got dark and the world got dim, he would focus on fixed points on the horizon to anchor himself and know where to go or what to do. It’s a beautiful idea, when skies are dark, fix your gaze on a point in the horizon. Although he gave it in the perspective of politics, I think the principle can apply to all points of our lives. Fix your eyes on a point on the horizon. The political scene, work, health, the uncomfortable parts of life can feel damp and dreary like a daily hurricane. To get through dark times, fix your eyes on the horizon. I think fixing your eyes on the horizon alludes to both optimism and mindfulness, or maybe even better said mindfulness yielding optimism. When we choose to see the potential of a brighter future and focus on it, no matter what is happening or not happening in our lives, we are able to persist. So whatever industry or personal circumstance, fix your eyes on the horizon, on a brighter tomorrow. What is something that you choose to anchor your focus on?

🌱✨ The Promises of Spring are Unbreakable! ✨🌱 As the frost retreats and the first buds dare to unfurl, let's talk about promises – not just any promises, but the unyielding PROMISES OF SPRING. Each year, without fail, spring whispers a vow to the barren branches and silenced fields: "I will return." And it DOES! No matter how bitter the bite of winter or how deep the snow blankets the earth, spring is a relentless force that never reneges on its word. It's a lesson in faithfulness, a masterclass in steadfastness. So throw open your windows and welcome the season that teaches us about perseverance and renewal. Let’s embrace this time when life reaffirms its pledge to continue, against all odds. Remember - if spring can hold onto its promise through the harshest cold spells, so can we through our own challenges. Stand bold and resolute; keep those promises alive! #SpringPromises #UnbreakableVows #SeasonalInspiration

Grow in your pace. The world is moving fast and we are pushed to move fast with it at the cost of our serenity, peace, healing and recovery. We put the work on ourselves on hold to move fast with the world losing both ultimately. Growing in your pace means learning to say no to what does not serve you and saying yes fully to what serves you. #SobrietyTips

Embrace the longest night: A time for Reflection and Gratitude 🌌❄️ Today marks the Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year. It’s a time when darkness embraces most of the world more fully than any other day, a poignant reminder of the shadows that sometimes lie within us. These shadows aren’t just the night sky—they’re the limiting beliefs and doubts that whisper, “You’re not good enough, smart enough, lovable, or worthy.” But here’s the truth: just as the night gives way to dawn, so too can these self-imposed barriers fade, revealing a brighter path forward. 🌟 Pause. Reflect. Reframe. Have you ever stopped to think about what holds you back from your greatest success? Is it the past—the regrets, the doubts, the “what-ifs” that keep you tethered? You cannot fully embrace the future while the weight of yesterday lingers. Tonight, in the stillness of this sacred darkness, give yourself the gift of pause. ⌛ Take a moment to reflect on the lessons of this year. 🫤 Let go of what no longer serves you. 🎉 Celebrate the small and big wins that brought you to this moment. ✍ What are you grateful for? On this longest night, shift your focus from limitation to liberation. Find stillness. Reflect. Honor the journey that has brought you here. And let’s step boldly into the light of a new year filled with infinite possibilities. The past doesn’t define you. Your future begins now. Happy Winter Solstice! 🌌 #wintersolstice #gratitude #bestill

Winter Warmth On the longest night How do you celebrate, commemorate our nature? Living world dependent on a circled star for light and warmth, for energy to fuel our fate. We bring our forests inward. Ceremonies carry epic myth to shape consciousness. * Night walks for reflection. Touches contours of Earth. Cuddles dervish bevies of stars. Night desires primal connection. Eternity compressed, expressive spirits too subtle to survive Sunlight. Longer nights, stronger ties to sky lore. Siren songs run along aspirant spine, instruct your mind to widen, become open to awe. * December days go fast. Light returns slow through white horizons. Darkening tones feel appropriate companions. Sparkling peace, alone in vastness, at one with gladness. Cold, gallant partner, urges closeness. * * Calm before pent up congregation. Ready to pop Hallelujahs, surge ecstatically. World wide exultation. Electronic connection. Virtual warmth. Past fantasies’ achievement. We weave into future beliefs, reach forward. Accept and demand: We are all in this together.

Age Backwards INDEPENDENCE On the plains of hesitation lie the blackened bones of countless millions who at the dawn of victory lay down to rest, and in resting died. Adalai Stevenson It is inevitable. The calendar exposes time’s passing. Has your independence ever been threatened? Mine has. Dependence is only a theory until the day of reconning. Most are guilty of some form of decadence; some more than others; myself included. The seven biggest time wasters: 1. Anger 2. Envy 3. Gluttony 4. Greed 5. Lust 6. Pride 7. Sloth Time. I’ve noticed a crop of fear mongers sprouting: The water supply is contaminated The food supply is compromised The air we breathe is in question They (generally) offer no solutions; or a magic elixir that will instantly save your life; take out your wallet. What if all you had to do was change your choices? Distilled water Organic food Air purifiers Movement therapy As a population moves away from ready made products and solutions, and towards independence from convenience, the world is freed. I will look for you among the powerful assembly of the “undaunted.” Age Backwards! #LivePainFree #agebackwards #LiveDrugFree #MoveWithoutPain #egoscue #organic #glutenfree #GrainFree #sugarfree #ketogeniclifestyle #remotetraining

From 0-10 IN A DAY! British weather can be crazy just like our emotions. Humans change with the seasons, just like nature... 🌱🍂❄️ lemme explain! We’re living beings, constantly responding to our surroundings, even when we don’t realize it. Every drop in temperature, darker morning, or changing sky shifts how we feel, think, and act. Rebecca Campbell’s book, Light Is The New Black, completely flipped my perspective on what we call “cosy season.” Rather than just hibernating or slowing down, Campbell frames autumn and winter as the seasons to turn inward. Just like trees shed their leaves, we’re invited to let go of what no longer serves us. Just like animals retreat, we’re given space to recharge and reflect. Instead of fighting it, what if we leaned into this rhythm? What if we saw these months as a time to prepare for GROWTH… laying the foundations for what’s next, even if it doesn’t look flashy right now. So, however you are responding to your surroundings this season, IT’S OK! It feels so much better to lean into the natural ebb and flow, rather than resisting. …so happy cosy season!🧣🍁🍂❄️ #SeasonalLiving #RebeccaCampbell #GrowthMindset
