TRUTH VS RAIN By Mark Welch Truth in many ways is like rain. Not everyone looks at the rainy day for the good in it. What good can a rainy day bring to your life? If not sheltered, rain brings hydration and bathes all it comes it contact with. Truth, like rain, if not covered, also has the ability to cleanse and remove dirt and filth. The more rain...the less dirt and filth. The more truth...the less ignorance and deceit...even corruption. Rain feeds nature and all it's inhabitants. Without it, over time, everything needing it's nutrients will die. Truth feeds righteousness and provides enlightenment. Truth allows life to filter the filth...to purify, flourish and sustain. Light has dominion over darkness. Darkness has no dominion over light. Don't fear the rain. Don't fear the truth. Both can be a blessing to your life, add nutrients to your soul...and to the world around you. Both are necessary for the best version of you, your city and your world to thrive.

The grass is always greener in the neighbor’s yard. Why does it seem like you have a “blah” or even miserable life and everyone else’s is so great? Life isn’t always fair, at least not to the human eye. But remember, in order for gold to be purified and refined, it has to be heated to extreme temperatures. All the dross, or bad stuff, is then lifted to the top so that it can be skimmed off as the heat rises. It’s next to impossible to find your own dross when life is good. But when troubles hit and the heat goes up, then your dirty parts are easier to see. And that’s when you can start to scrape off all that junk once and for all. As you are refined by the trials of life, you start to turn to the one who can save you, the one you need more than anything or anyone else, and your life is cleansed and made new. So don’t fear the fire. Don’t worry when life goes wrong, but look to Jesus and see what he wants removed. When your focus is on improvement and purification instead of worldly questions and worries, your ability to rise above and even overcome adversity grows. No trial is a waste of time when your focus is on pleasing God instead of yourself. Excerpt From Devotions for the God Guy Pastor Michael DiMarco

🌿 "Dry Bones Come to Life" – A Reflection on Ezekiel 37 🌿 There are seasons when life feels dry, empty, and lifeless—when hope seems distant, and our strength feels like it's withered away. In Ezekiel 37, God takes the prophet to a valley filled with dry bones and asks, 'Can these bones live?' At first glance, the answer seems impossible. But with God, even the driest bones can rise again. This story reminds us that no matter how broken or barren things feel, God has the power to breathe life into what feels lost. 🌬️ His breath revives, restores, and renews—not just our circumstances but our hearts and spirits, too. If you’re walking through a season that feels dry—know that restoration is not only possible; it’s promised. Whether it's healing in your body, clarity in your mind, or peace in your spirit, God's breath of life is waiting to fill you. 💜 What’s one area in your life where you need God’s breath today? I’d love to walk this journey with you, to help you reconnect with the life and peace waiting on the other side of your valley. #LivingWaterWellness #DryBonesComeToLife #HealingJourney #PeaceAndFreedomIsWaitingForYou #SpiritualRestoration #InnerPeaceJourney #FaithAndHealing #WholePersonCare

Psalm 23, Verse 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures: Like sheep we don't always qualify our needs, without meaning to, we over commit, and often wear ourselves out. Eager to make sure that we are not used or taken for granted, we rush ahead, hungry for more. Once we exhaust ourselves trying to meet our own needs, we finally remember to let go and turn to Him for provision. It is then that we realize that Jesus never left us alone. When we surrender, we discover that His answers are so much better; that we don’t have to settle for enough to get by, we can put the matter into His hands for He knows exactly what is in our best interest. He leads me beside still waters: Relaxation is big business in the United States, stressed out corporations pay big money for retreats or relaxing body work. Still, calmness sometimes fades Monday morning. Overdoing life comes with harsh results, relationships suffer, heated tempers produce angry responses that can limit understanding. So sad when thought provoking answers are only a prayer away. Yes, we are never alone as the world would have us think. When we quiet frantic urges to do it ourselves, we discover that He never left us. Instead, Jesus is beside us, loving, guiding, and leading us all the way. He leads me beside still waters” #sheep #greenpastures #raceahead #relaxation #Hishands #wearourselvesout #Calmness #Jesus #prayer #calmness #neveralone #guiding

✨ Blessing Your Broom for Sacred Energy Cleansing ✨ Did you know that a simple broom can become a powerful tool for clearing negative energy and protecting your home? In many spiritual traditions, brooms (or besoms) are used to sweep away stagnant energy, making space for positivity and abundance. Blessing your broom can enhance its power and turn it into a sacred tool for your rituals and everyday life. Here’s how to bless your broom: >Cleanse it: Light sage, palo santo, or incense, and allow the smoke to waft around the broom, removing any old energy. >Set your intention: Hold your broom and speak words of blessing. You might say, "May this broom clear away negativity and bring peace, harmony, and protection to all who dwell here." >Infuse with elements: Pass your broom through the smoke of incense (air), sprinkle with water (water), pass it briefly over a candle flame (fire), and touch it to the earth (earth) to invite the balance of all elements. >Use it mindfully: Sweep from east to west, or in a clockwise motion, symbolizing the flow of positive energy into your space. Remember, a blessed broom isn’t just for cleaning dirt—it’s a sacred tool to energetically sweep your home and life clean. 🌿✨ #BlessYourBroom #SacredCleansing #EnergyClearing #HomeBlessing #RitualTools #PositiveEnergy
