It also delves into the impact of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and Almajiris on our communities. Furthermore, the book offers insights into the challenges that Nigerian youths face and provides useful tips on advocacy and communication strategies to help make a difference. There is still time to take our EFMP survey! Don’t miss this chance to have your voice heard about how things are going (or not going) for your EFMP family. We use this data to drive our advocacy initiatives, for conference presentations, meetings with legislators and leadership, and to speak with organizations. We are the organization people come to, to ask the hard questions about how our EFMP families are doing. This survey is just one way we support our families along with direct case management, resources, support groups, the list goes on! Click the link below to take the survey! Or please SHARE the post so more EFMP families can see it and take the survey. https://lnkd.in/eT2PJhtR #EFMVoice #EFMP #EFMPFamily #efmjuniorambassdor #military #advocacymatters #Advocacy #advocate #iepadvocate #education #IEPGoals #Tricare #militaryfamily #militarylife

🤝 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝! Yesterday and today, Jochem Duinhof, Political Advisor and Nico Smith, Advocacy, Communication and Networking Expert at Dorcas are participating in the EU-CORD advocacy forum. The EU-CORD network comprises of 26 NGOs that work alongside their national civil society counterparts in 87 countries. The advocacy forum provides practical skills, educates, inspires and connects us to the pressing issues that affect our world and those of our partners. Jochem: ‘During this forum, we are reminded again of the importance of collaboration and our valuable partnership with EU-CORD. Yesterday, we discussed the global challenges of drawing attention and support to the needs of marginalised people and communities.’ 'There are several dilemmas that NGOs face in these times. How, for example, can we give the Ukraine conflict the attention it deserves without it coming at the expense of other crises? As Dorcas, we will continue to advocate for those in need and we are very pleased to be able to do this together with other EU-CORD members.' #Collaboration #NGO #Advocacy #Together #ForThoseInNeed

The surge in antisemitic incidents across Europe since October 7 - both online and offline - has been staggering. There was a 1000% increase in antisemitic incidents documented in France; in Germany, an increase of 320%; in the Netherlands – 818%; and in Austria – 300%. WJC and leading Jewish advocacy groups are urging the European Commission to prioritize combating online #antisemitism. It is imperative to address this urgent issue and safeguard the online safety of Jewish Europeans. Find our open letter: https://bit.ly/3Tc15qk
