Great energy at Unigestion today, where I was thrilled to introduce Ardabelle Capital. Also had very interesting interactions on a panel entitled “Women Women founders leading the way” with Claire Guilbert, Eleanor Blagbrough, Tracey Huggett During the short introduction, I was asked to give three reasons why one should believe in Ardabelle’s success. I said “team, timing and Ardabelle’s firm model”. Let me develop. Team - we are extraordinary complementary, one from each other, with unique insight into the consumers good sector, through a Scope 3 reductions perspective… Apart from the fact that we are a female-majority founding team ! Timing - this is optimal timing, in where we see the global shift towards sustainability meets a wave of growing maturity of technological disruptions, making now the right time to invest Model - we want to build a modern GP with an impact-driven investment strategy and value creation strategy are market-leading. Looking forward to letting you know more about Ardabelle #privateequity #emergingmanagers

💥 EXCLUSIVE PROFILE No. 7: Thanks to Redpath Partners, Shopping Centre News Australia (SCN) is sharing the seventh of 9 exclusive profiles of some fabulous trailblazing women in property who are paving the way for the future generation in our dynamic industry for everyone to enjoy. 💎 We hope you find inspiration in this profile on Kirrily Lord, Group Director, Customer and Asset Management Manager, Vicinity Centres. 🎤 SCN: Best piece of advice you've received? 💡 Kirrily: The best advice I’ve received was from an old boss of mine who was an executive leader himself. He said to always lead with empathy and authenticity – he encouraged me to find the value in all people, even if I had to dig a bit deeper to do so. He knew that this would help me better understand and value the perspectives and experiences of the teams I work with. It creates much more value and builds trust along the way. I also share his passion for practicing (and believing deeply in) high levels of communication. Listening actively and communicating transparently and often, helps create a sense of belonging and inspires collaboration – which is critical in large teams. He also said I shouldn’t care as much about what people think of me, as I won’t please everyone. Good advice! (Although I still find it hard to put that into practice). 👓 Read the full profile here: https://lnkd.in/gekk63iY #womeninproperty #leaders #inspiringcareers #shoppingcentres #careeradvice

When Cate Luzio, a former Wall Street banker, was creating Luminary, she caught my attention because of the empowerment and interconnectedness Luminary provides for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and women of color. Cate has grown Luminary into a multimillion-dollar global B2C and B2B business with more than 15,000 members and over 100 enterprise members. She made her second acquisition late in 2023, buying The Cru Empowered by Luminary to add to Luminary’s robust product offering. Luminary hosts more than 250 programs, events, and activations annually with more than 70% Member-led. Cate actively promotes and elevates her members, inviting them to lead workshops, sit on panels, and contribute their expertise. 📌 Her success building a company and community is what I'm excited to talk about on this week's LinkedIn Live series, Dancing with Numbers (IRL). Join us THIS Thursday, November 7 at 9 AM ET. Here’s two easy steps to join. 1. Mark your calendar and set your alarm for November 7 at 9 AM ET. 2. Hit the notification bell on my LinkedIn profile to get a reminder when we go LIVE. #SmallBusinessFinance #ProfitabilityTips #ScalingYourBusiness #FinancialPlanning

Real Estate Professionals, this Women's History Month, let's celebrate by supporting women in our professional network. Here are three ways we can help: 1. Share your knowledge with aspiring female real estate developers. Working with Peter Miller on innovation projects at Westfield contributed to me acquiring my first commercial properties, developing them, and ultimately selling them for many multiples to Ford Motor Company. 2. Invest in or work on a sweat equity basis with real estate and property tech women founders. Did you know that women-founded startups deliver higher revenue and exit sooner at a higher rate than their male counterparts? Not only will you help them grow their companies, but you'll also likely make a great return. If you're not sure where to start, feel free to message me, and I'll introduce you to some excellent women founders in these sectors in Angel Club. 3. Collaborate on projects and initiatives that empower women in property management and investment. By working together, we can create a more inclusive, diverse, and profitable industry. Let's make history and support our fellow women in Real Estate! hashtag #HelpHerMakeHistory #WomensHistoryMonth #FundFemaleFounders #realestate

Did you know? Less than 1% of venture capital funding goes to Black women founders. In the PR industry, the numbers are even more stark. But sometimes, opportunity knocks when you least expect it. Last month, what was meant to be a self-care day at #EnvsnFest founded by Laura Stylez and Sharifa Murdock in NYC turned into an unexpected win for J.McKee & Co I walked into the festival seeking rejuvenation and walked out with renewed purpose and validation for our mission. In an impromptu pitch competition, I shared our vision for amplifying diverse voices in PR. The result? A $1000 prize and a powerful reminder that our passion and purpose resonate. This experience fills me with immense gratitude. Grateful for the platform that #EnvsnFest provides. Thankful for visionaries like Anisa Pennie Kadidja Dosso of Dosso Beauty and Foot Locker who create spaces where diverse entrepreneurs can shine. To my fellow business leaders, especially women of color: Your voice matters. Your ideas have value. Stay ready, because you never know when your moment will come. Let's continue to show up, speak up, and lift each other up. Together, we can change the statistics and create a more inclusive business landscape. #GratefulEntrepreneur #WomenInPR #DiversityInBusiness #UnexpectedBlessings #PublicRelations #brandtransformation #crisismanagement #mediaoutreach #thoughtleadership #collaboration #authenticity #crisismanagement #mediaoutreach, #influencerpartnerships #contentcreation #brandpartnerships
