Christmas is a time where a lot of people have family traditions. When people separate, it can be very difficult to come to terms with that; these traditions now have changed. However, it can also be a great opportunity for co-parents to create new ones. Christmas has changed now you are not together anymore but that does not have to be a bad thing. Think about what is important to you and the kids about the Christmas period and start making new fun memories with your kids. Building new traditions can bring joy and comfort, even as family dynamics change. Looking for ideas on how to navigate this new chapter and work out the new arrangements with your ex? Thanksgiving isn't just about turkey and stuffing. 🦃 It's a time for us to pause and really think about what matters most. In the hustle of real estate, especially when working with seniors or handling estate sales, it's important to remember the real reasons we celebrate. Here's what Thanksgiving means to me in our field: 1️⃣ Gratitude: Take a moment to thank the people who trust us in their life transitions. Their stories and journeys belong right at the heart of what we do. 2️⃣ Family: Whether it's ensuring a smooth estate sale or finding that perfect nest for a new family, it’s always about bringing people together. 3️⃣ Community: We're privileged to be part of the community here in Toronto, where every house and commercial space has its unique charm and story. ❤️ 4️⃣ Reflection: Every deal, every happy client reminds us of our journey and why we chose this path. It fuels us to continue helping others. As we gather around the table, let’s reflect on these values that go beyond just real estate. Building trust and fostering connections is a reason to give thanks every day. What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? 🔍🍂 Let's celebrate more than just the meal!

What does it mean to celebrate Christmas far from home? This is my third Christmas away from Scotland, due to living in Canada on a visa. Being far from home during the holidays can feel not quite right, but I’ve learned it’s an opportunity to create new traditions and make the season feel special in your own way. If you’re spending your first Christmas away or considering a big move, here are some tips: 1️⃣ Bring your traditions with you – Familiar recipes, decorations, or playlists can make any space feel like home. 2️⃣ Embrace where you are – Celebrate the unique traditions of your new location and make them your own. 3️⃣ Create your community – Share the season with friends through small gatherings or simple moments. 4️⃣ Make space for your feelings – It’s okay to miss home while also finding joy where you are now. And it’s the 25th of November! Never too early for a tree 🫶
