What I learned from this launch: #1: I actually do like launching. I've spent the last year telling myself that I just don't like launching. That it's how other people do it, but it's probably just not for me. That I'm a special snowflake because I run all of my business, behind the scenes, social media, juggling speaking gigs and workshops, and being the coach and showing up for my clients. It's all me. And I told myself that is why it's so hard for me. That I'm the only one who is balancing personal issues along with all that my bizness requries. So launching just isn't for me. But for me, to focus in on one iota of what I teach, what I can bring, how this one thing will impact you... I like that. This launch was about self-trust. And I liked having the freedom to deep dive into that topic. I enjoy the container of launching. The simplicity in my launch style. The way I've learned to pace my launches in order to give myself the spaciousness for days I feel a little less clear or motivated. But it's a place I enjoy creating from. I enjoy playing in. I enjoy sharing about. I enjoy having intimate conversations about. I enjoy the focus. And, as always, every launch will push the very thing I'm putting out into the world. So for this launch, I had to keep coming back to self-trust. I had to keep choosing the tools I know work for me; I know work for my clients, to keep them in self-trust. And through that, my focus became even sharper & clearer. Not through magic & osmosis. Not immediately. But through clear & conscious awareness & choice. Tell me- do you like launching? For my career people- translate this to a big project you're working on, or a goal you're trying to hit in the immediate future.

Does this sound familiar? Your launches are getting more and more leads More and more people are coming into your trainings Yet less and less people are showing up live And people keep telling you it’s normal, keep launching. Your launches are getting more complicated, more stressful and you’re adding more to it, yet less are showing up live and buying… You know you’re good at what you do… yet you’re getting more and more frustrated because of all the time + energy you’re spending planning, without the bump in revenue. The big thing people miss is that low show up rates are the symptom of a bigger problem. There’s a reason why people aren’t showing up and it will continue to get worse… I have a twelve minutes video that shares our approach to scaling businesses sustainably and profitably. DM me & I'll send it over, no opt in.

500+ signups and counting! 🤯 Join me for a free, 30-minute session ⚡️ next Monday, May 13: https://lnkd.in/gA2NSiNr that I'm leading with Maven. There's capital-B 𝓑𝓻𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰, and then there's 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗴—creating it, governing it, distributing and scaling it through campaigns, and so on. 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 is a hard-to-pin-down intersection of critical thinking, visual design and UX design, copywriting, psychology, and cultural analysis. Brands become drivers that shape how society thinks, acts, and function. Throw in trend forecasting and advertising, listening and research, and it's one of the most powerful—and complex—arts we practice. So if THAT'S hard, then 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗴, on the other hand, is a beast of its own. Aside from the CEO, you're *the one* who's best positioned to drive the most org-wide cross-functional alignment and alliance—pushing through constant subjectivity. You're fighting the constant battle to prove that branding is NOT at odds with product or growth. And you know you need to keep a long-term, big-picture mindset while executing, responding, and shipping at top-speed. You need structure to do this well. You need a strategy. This session pulls from my 4-week Maven course (https://lnkd.in/giUqJ8ee) and from my experience leading brand at high-growth companies like Gusto, Notion, and Brex. Students come from beloved tech brands like Figma, Faire, Calendly, Typeform, Instrument, Noom, and Inflection AI, to name a few. I'm packing as much as I can into 20 minutes with 10 minutes of Q&A. Come join the fun! #brand #brandmarketing #brandstrategy #leadership #branding #lightninglesson

Dear connections, I wanted to share a bittersweet update with you all. After an incredible journey of building FernGlasz from the ground up with all my heart, energy, and soul (yes, literally!), I’ve decided to part ways this November. What started as an idea grew into a thriving community of 10,000+ students and 110+ companies, powered by constant user insights, relentless research, and a pinch of the AI magic that reshaped the world over the past few years. As I reflect on this chapter, I want to share some lessons I’ve learned during this rollercoaster ride as a co-founder. Hopefully, they’ll resonate with those of you building or thinking about creating something extraordinary: For the team (they always come first-- this pic doesn't have all the team members we had): 👉 Keep your shoulders up, no matter how tough things get. The team looks to you for strength and hope every single day. 👉 Spend time with every team member. Listen to what they think about the product, the market, and even their own role—it matters more than you think. 👉 Take chai/coffee, etc, breaks together. Small moments like these go a long way in building a culture of togetherness. 👉 Help everyone understand why each decision is being made. Clarity drives trust and keeps everyone aligned. Between founders: 👉 Always show your real side—don’t hide what you’re feeling as an individual. 👉 Have honest conversations about the direction the company is heading. No sugarcoating. 👉 Be practical and realistic with your expectations, even while staying optimistic. 👉 Pick up each other’s calls—your co-founder might need someone to lean on at that moment. 👉 Most importantly, plan your finances carefully. Assume no funding is coming and make sure you can cover both personal and company needs (roti, kapda, makan essentials). On shipping features: 👉 Don’t obsess over 3-6-9-12 month roadmaps. They keep you stuck in the future. 👉 Solve for what users need right now. User reviews, 1:1 calls, and feedback are just a phone call away! Phone uthao and call lagao... 👉 Small teams = quick wins. Keep it simple. 👉 Prioritize ruthlessly. Don't try to solve everything at once; prioritize! If you need to work on 2 things at a time, give 80% focus on feature 1 and 20% on feature 2 with 2 separate small teams. You don't need "Mix fruit juice" to be healthy; it is more sugar than health. This journey has taught me so much that I can go on writing an essay, and I’m immensely grateful to everyone who’s been part of it—the team, our users, and my co-founders Abhilekh Kumar Kaushal Panjwani. Thank you for believing in what we built together. Next is what? Well, even I am figuring it out with a break from the hustle. Stay tuned.

What’s it like to be one of my clients? Let me introduce you to one: Q-PAC Q-PAC is an industrial manufacturing company that’s on a tear. I love working with the team, because... • Their margins and growth would make most SaaS startups green with envy. • We're building legit new market category against old-school competitors. • The CEO, Matt Kent, is allergic to the status quo and wants to play big. • The team is hungry, sharp, and fun to work with. • No VCs breathing down their neck. We get to do some meaningful and challenging work together: • Building their strategic narrative • Defining the category and their plan to grow it • Creating the GTM plan • Growing the team • And hopefully pulling off some legendary marketing It’s early chapters. We have a ton of work ahead, but our initial work has laid a solid foundation for a legendary business. Stay tuned, because as we go, I’ll be sharing more about our wins, our losses, and what we’re learning along the way. ===== P.S. I unpack lessons from companies like Q-PAC in my newsletter, The Narrative Field Guide. Subscribe to get a free tool to validate the problem your brand solves. To get it, DM me or hit the link in my bio.
