When you're starting to build your own website, most folks have a zillion ideas flying around in their head. Do I use tons of my own photos? How do I want to include testimonials? Do I need some FAQ's?! What do I include on my home page?! While the answer is a resounding YES to the first three questions, you really want to START with your homepage. The best way to organize your home page is by thinking of it like a table of contents: Summarize what someone is going to see if they read the whole book, include some highlights and make sure potential clients know what the next step is.
