We wanted to share some response scenario notes that our CEO Shawn Mayzes had stored for himself based on books he was reading at the time. These are helpful for him when talking to folks about deadlines and task responsibilities. Response Scenarios: - If They Say "I'll Try" Response: "I know you can do this. What would make you certain about hitting this deadline?" - If They're Overwhelmed Response: "Let's break this down - what's the one thing that would create the most progress?" - If They're Making Excuses Response: "I hear you. What can we do differently to make sure this gets priority?" - If They're Crushing It Response: "That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. What's your gut telling you about next steps?" #EffectiveCommunication #LeadershipTips #TeamworkMatters #GoalSetting #Prioritization #MotivationalLeadership #ProfessionalDevelopment #AccountabilityInAction #SupportiveLeadership #TeamSuccess

A morning musing to tickle the grey matter into action. "Looking at your core business values, what would you say will be more present in your actions today"? You wouldn't be alone in forgetting to make small adjustments to keep you aligned with what makes your day purposeful and pleasurable. This was the topic of conversation with my early morning accountability client. Just thought someone might like the share. It would make a phenomenal journal prompt and conversation starter. Or even one for your CEO hour this morning 🤔 #selfleadership #businessvalues #networking

The brain dump checklist when your feeling overwhelmed with tasks. 1️⃣ What do I need to do, or what needs to happen? 2️⃣ Who is leading on the task? 3️⃣ What is my role and action in the task 4️⃣ What is a deliverable? 5️⃣ What information or clarifying points do I need to complete or support the task? 6️⃣ Is this an activity that I actually need to do, or can I delegate it to somebody? 7️⃣ What is the time frame to deliver? It’s not rocket science, but this may serve as a helpful reminder to get everything out of your head before you jump into your day. #pcnmanager #todolist #braindump #planning #organisation #productivity

One of the keys 🔑 to building my professional reputation has been resourcefulness. I’ve always made it a point not to be that colleague who constantly needs things handed to them. Using tools like search functions, taking a moment to backtrack through old notes, or simply taking initiative to figure things out before asking for help—those small actions add up. They not only save time but also show that I respect my colleagues’ bandwidth. Being seen as dependable and self-sufficient goes a long way in shaping how people perceive you at work. Food for thought: Are you leaning on your own resourcefulness as much as you could be? 💭 #ADLeveledUp #ExecutiveCoaching #leadershipcoach #transformationalleadership #theadlevelupexperience #LevelUpCoachingandConsultingLLC

I love this Liz Fosslien twist on the Eisenhower or 2x2 matrix. We all know that we're supposed to focus on the important-and-not-urgent tasks. How often do you find yourself sucked into the other three quadrants, and yet unable to stop thinking about the one that would actually make the biggest difference to your life and work? In his fantastic book 'Four Thousand Weeks', Oliver Burkeman points out that we can never get it all done anyway. He suggests the reasonable response is to stop worrying about all the unimportant things, and focus on a tiny handful of meaningful things that really matter to us. To help with that, why not carve out specific time in your diary to work on what is important-and-not-urgent? The best time to start this was 10 years ago, the next best time is today! _________________ Hi, I’m Daria 👋🏻 ✨ I help leaders develop for good, by working in their Zone of Genius. 📖 I created The Strengths Deck and wrote Unleash Your Awesome to help you get up close and personal with your strengths. ➡️ I work with teams and individuals. 💡 Follow me for ideas on how to build sustainable performance by understanding and applying your unique strengths. #EisenhowerMatrix #TimeManagement #productivity #efficiency #priorities #meaning #success #results

🚀 Challenge for All CEOs: Can You Set an Up-Front Contract with Your Toughest Client—Your Kids? 🚀 Here’s the challenge: 1️⃣ Define the Objective: What do you want to achieve? Whether it's a new bedtime routine, homework completion, or limiting screen time, be clear about your goals. 2️⃣ Set Expectations: Clearly communicate what you expect from them. Use language they understand and engage them in the conversation! 3️⃣ Agree on Terms: Discuss what they can expect in return. Maybe it’s extra screen time on weekends or a special outing. Make it a two-way agreement. 4️⃣ Follow Up: Just like in business, keep the lines of communication open. Check in regularly to ensure both sides are meeting their commitments. Take a moment to reflect: Do you have what it takes to navigate this Up-Front Contract with your toughest client? The longer you put it off, the heavier it feels— (even the smallest task seems impossible.) I’ve been there—even when a small task turns into a mountain just because it’s been sitting on my to-do list for too long. It’s like the longer you wait, the heavier it gets. What finally worked for me was this: Instead of tackling the whole thing at once, I broke it down into the tiniest steps possible. It’s not about finishing fast, but about just starting—one small action at a time. No grand stories, just practical steps that worked in real scenarios. Swipe through the carousel below! ___ P.S: How will you break free from your "I'll get it done later" mode today? P.P.S: Want to dive deeper into productivity strategies?
