Today we officially launch our new website and rebrand for Twisted Truth Media Pty Ltd (formerly Twisted Truth Productions), our new full-service media production and marketing agency identity. Super happy to finally be able to launch this after many months in the making! 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 ➜ https://lnkd.in/gqi4Jxa3 After nearly a decade of being in business, filming/photographing content, executing social media and digital marketing projects, and more, we are excited to have evolved into the full-service agency that we are today, covering a wide array of services including: ✅️ End-to-end full-service media and marketing from strategy, to production, through to media execution ✅️ Professional video and photo content for brands, businesses, and events ✅️ Graphic design and branding ✅️ Website design and development ✅️ Creative strategy ✅️ Professional wedding videography and photography ✅️ Professional life story documentaries As part of our rebrand, we have also restructured our business into three different divisions: our creative and media agency side handling our work for brands, businesses, and events, our wedding videography and photography side, and our new emergent life story documentaries side. All of our previous services still remain and we look forward to continuing to deliver the same level of quality for our existing clients, and even more, with our new enhanced offering. From starting out as a sole trader videographer/photographer operation, to building Twisted Truth Media into a full-service media production and marketing agency with a small team of content creatives and marketing specialists, it has been a rewarding journey over nearly a decade. But most importantly, the fantastic clients we have gotten to work with, across automotive, hospitality, trades, corporate, events, weddings, and more, have made it all well worth it. Over the past couple of years in leading up to our brand and positioning refresh, our biggest focus has been our full-service partnership approach. By partnering with the brands and businesses we work with, we act as an extension of their operations to deliver media and marketing that is truly integrated and on-brand through every touchpoint, with our team being involved every step of the way. This is something we are especially excited about, as we continue to work with more and more clients on this full-service basis. We also look forward to still working with all of our clients project to project as well. Now comes the fun of taking our new brand properly to market! If you’re looking for a solid agency for your media production and marketing, or you just want to say hello, feel free to reach out and let’s line up a time to have a chat. #launch #agency #media #creative #content #videography #sydney #photography #business #marketing #advertising #brand #australia

As I go through all my past work, I find little gems that really make me filled with pride. This is one of them. One of my last campaigns I got to work on at Vox Media and with one of my favorite brands, Ralph Lauren. I hope I get to work on more beautiful projects like this soon! #casting #influencercasting #editorial #advertorial #fashionadvertising

Our Chief Creative Officer, Andrew Fergusson, sat down with AdNews Australia to talk about the importance of cut-through creative, especially in difficult times, the rise in agency panel models and how Leo Burnett is continuing to prioritise diversity and ensure it's an industry that provides a bright future for young creatives. “We need creative that’s going to stand out from the competition. We’re doing a lot more creative workshops with clients. We’re having global clients tell us they want their work on the world stage. So there is that positive to this type of a market where the competition pushes you to make more creative work.” Speaking on agency panel models, he said: “With Publicis, when it created the one P&L across the country, that actually makes those types of briefs a lot easier because we're seeing that type of work where you can put multiple agencies on things and connect it without the hassle of actually working with lots of different agencies.” https://lnkd.in/gGEeb6Dz

The more years I spend in advertising, the more I notice the importance of one thing - your taste level matters immensely. Having a good eye, ear, and just an all-around feel for what good work looks like becomes crucial. Moreover, knowing how to create/produce good work is a straight-up superpower. This isn't just for creatives either. The best Account, Media, Social, and Production folks I know have good taste. In fact, I'd rather take a top-flight crew at those positions with mediocre creatives than the other way around. Getting to good work doesn't just appear at the end. It's a true process to get there. And you could argue, more important than all the agency personnel combined, is the Brand Partners themselves. Their eye, their gut, their confidence in making good choices and seeing them through is often times the difference between really good work and just...work. So, take the time. Develop your eye. Gain some experience, some know-how, and some confidence. Accept that it's a process. But trust that it's worth it.

What do you do? "We're a PR firm" "We're a social media agency" "We're a motion design studio" "We're a CG studio" You're done. Good luck. The creative industry is evolving, and is doing so in an unprecedented way. Where is it going? We'd all like to know. But one thing is sure - there's no business as usual. 2023 showed it. And it's not an exception. It's the new normal. "The End"? Yes — I made a strong statement. Curious why? I have good reasons to think so, and what direction I see creative firms can take to stay relevant and future-proof. The same word can have many meanings. #GoodAdsMatter This Orange ad from 2009, titled, “Les Mots (The Words)”, poetically explores how the same words can carry vastly different emotions—love, hope, regret, or longing—depending on tone and context. With its evocative storytelling, the ad highlights Orange’s commitment to fostering genuine human connections through its services. The production stands out for its artistic finesse and seamlessly aligns with Orange's brand ethos of merging technology with humanity. Philippe André's direction artfully combines intimate visuals with moments of reflection, urging us to reevaluate how we communicate. The idea that there is Internet and ‘Internet by Orange’ highlights the nuances of digital interaction in shaping these shared meanings. A single word, spoken differently, can change everything—Isn’t it? 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝟳𝟱𝟬𝗸+ 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴/𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗱! "I'm sorry, but the media will not run these photos." 😬 Delivering this news was devastating after a team spent precious time and energy on a massive overhaul of new photography and a brand refresh. 📸 So, the question begs: Should the PR team dictate creative? 🤔 No, not exactly. However, the PR team should be consulted if you want a fair shake at earned media. 📰 In most cases, the PR team doesn't set foot in the world of production or creative🙅🏻♀️ [Although in my previous life, I was the on-call food styler for a maple syrup brand 🥞 before "sticking" with the written word] But as your publicist, a communications expert, and someone who's mastered the art of pitching by placing hundreds of thousands of stories, it is my responsibility to be radically honest about what media will and will not run with photos. 📢📷 And as I look to call out some of the more common PR pain points on my personal LinkedIn, let’s take a stab at this one so everyone avoids: a.) spending precious resources 💰⏳ b.) the drama and heartache when a product/story doesn’t get picked up. 💔 Here are a few tips on what media will not run in photo/video assets: 📉 Low Res — screenshots won’t cut it, my friends. Don’t bother. 🚫 Anything with branded/promotional text or your logo. Repeat after me, “THIS IS AN AD.” 📸 Overly Staged - this is in the same vein as “ads” - but think of overly posed group shots. Candids and “in action” are best, especially if you’re a service provider. ✂️ Overly Edited - I’m looking at you, beauty brands👀. Do us all a favor and lay off the photoshop and lean on UGC. 🤖 AI-Generated Assets - your proactive PR campaign might turn into a reactive one with crisis comms. Debatable: 🖼️ Renderings — def not ideal for media use but editors will use them in a pinch and at their own discretion. [In full candor, I’ve been guilty of pitching renderings, especially with my real estate brands] Bottom line: renderings are OK, but high-res assets are WAY better - so if you have a finite budget, spend the dollars on photography📸💰 A few other tips: 🖋️ ALWAYS provide photo credit for the photographer to the editor 📁 Use filenames for your photo assets that are short but descriptive for some extra SEO juice - new-product-by-Yourbrand.jpg is better than IMG00023.JPG. 🤔 Editors, Freelancers, Reporters and Producers: Did I miss anything? 🤔 General Pop: Any surprises here? [Photo: Me "fake working" - which should never be used for pitching media 😅] #MediaRelations #PRAgency #PRprofessional #Pitching ---------------------------------------------------------------- 🙋🏻♀️Hi! I'm Britt - I turn national lifestyle and real estate brands into media magnets. ⌨️PM to chat all things PR!

Most hotels recognize the importance of maintaining a strong social media presence, yet many struggle to fully harness the power of videography in today’s digital landscape. Internal marketing teams are often tasked with video production, and given the substantial costs of professional videography, it’s understandable that many adopt this approach. However, while marketing and videography are closely linked, they are distinct disciplines that require specialized skills and equipment. At Novalp, we position ourselves as a provider of high-quality, brand-aligned videography, offering competitive monthly packages. #HotelMarketing #HospitalityIndustry #ContentCreation #DigitalMarketing #Videography
