  • When hunger strikes, everything points to McDonald’s. #GoodAdsMatter Ever noticed how hunger has a way of turning the world into one big menu? Suddenly, Pareidolia takes over and everything screams of…well, a Big Mac. McDonald’s took this universal craving quirk and turned it into a brilliant outdoor campaign. The iconic Golden Arches sneakily appear in everyday scenes—traffic lights, ice skaters, even cityscapes—all guiding you to satisfy that hunger with a Big Mac (or two). Because when your stomach talks, McDonald’s listens. Let us know if you could spot the arches! • Not all heroes wear capes—some wear Levi’s. #GoodAdsMatter For Levi’s latest kids’ collection, the campaign reimagines classic childhood tales and rhymes with a cheeky twist, celebrating kids' playful heroics and wild imaginations. Designed to be as tough as their adventures, these long-lasting clothes stand up to every climb, tumble, and daring rescue mission. Additionally, strategically placing these posters in fitting rooms and shopping areas spark delightful interactions between moms and their little heroes, turning shopping into story time. A clever and playful way to connect the product with the user as well as the buyer. Sturdy enough for kids. Clever enough for moms..See how Levi’s is redefining playtime fashion. • When weight holds them back, it’s more than just gravity. #GoodAdsMatter DiaTribe’s campaign on child obesity hits hard by keeping it light—through exaggerated sketches and clever caricatures. It’s a reminder that if we don’t act now, unhealthy habits today can weigh down a child’s future. The playful visuals pack a serious punch, proving that sometimes the most pressing issues are best expressed with a bit of exaggeration and creativity. • A mother shields her young ones, but who shields the mother? #GoodAdsMatter Greenpeace’s 2019 campaign, 'Mothers', tugs at your heartstrings and opens your eyes wide. Featuring animal mothers covering the eyes of their little ones, the visuals quietly yet powerfully highlight the consequences of our environmental misdeeds. Just like humans protect their kids from the world’s worst, wildlife mothers do the same—only this time, it’s us they’re shielding their families from. It’s a stark, moving reminder: we need to step up and protect them before it’s too late. Heart-wrenching. Eye-opening. Impossible to ignore. • We’re excited to bring you another edition of #GoodAdsMatter Ad Makers' Picks, featuring the acclaimed Nils Leonard as our collaborator! Nils has over two decades of experience in the advertising and design industry. With a strong foundation in design, his work for Tate Britain earned him a Grand Prix at the Design Week awards, along with 15 Lions at the Cannes Festival of Creativity. Some of his works include OOH campaigns for British Airways - 'Windows', The Ordinary, and a commercial for B&Q's 'Flip - Change Made Easier.' In addition to our post earlier today, we’re spotlighting the other two of Nils’ top ad picks: Patagonia’s Label ‘Vote the assholes out’ & Nike’s Billboard ‘Yesterday you said tomorrow’. When your shorts speak louder than tweets—Patagonia’s clothing label is the mic drop we didn’t know we needed. Yes, you read that right. The internet buzzed over the Patagonia tag “VOTE THE ASSHOLES OUT” that broke the mold of mundane laundry instructions. Known for taking a stand against climate deniers and political inaction, Patagonia stitched its stance directly into their Regenerative Organic Stand-Up Shorts—because what better place for a bold statement than where you literally stand up? CEO: Yvon Chouinard Director of Copy: Brad Wieners Spokesperson: K. Corley Kenna Procrastination called—Nike just hung up. “Yesterday you said tomorrow.” Just four words, but enough to knock the wind out of your excuses. Nike proved that sometimes, the simplest ads pack the biggest punch. No flashy visuals, no frills—just a bold, straight-talking billboard that tells it like it is. Who else feels personally called out? Agency: Wieden + Kennedy #GoodAdsMatter #Advertising #PrintAds

Today, we’re spotlighting one of Nil’s top ad picks: Macmillan Cancer Support 'Whatever It Takes'. This ad portrays the daunting reality of living with cancer—both for patients as well as for their caretakers. It captures real-life moments, following a cancer diagnosis—From receiving a difficult diagnosis to managing unexpected challenges, like financial strain and emotional isolation, that many people encounter. The ad captures a spectrum of emotions within a brief timeframe, portraying intimate moments between patients and Macmillan staff. The cinematography keeps the characters central, allowing viewers to witness their emotions and reactions. Set to Max Richter’s 'Spring 1', the ad features scenes of Macmillan staff assisting during pivotal moments of cancer patients’ journeys, demonstrating tenderness, humour, and grit amid the daily challenges of living with cancer. In a world where cancer affects so many lives, here is to ensure no one faces their battle alone. We will be sharing Nils' other picks soon. Stay tuned! #GoodAdsMatter #Advertising #PurposeStudios
