For the longest time I had been dwelling on the concept of organising an event that portrays the tenet of my frequent posts on Linkedin. Driving the infusion of Sustainability, Sports and EVs to accelerate the switch. Moving the needle on under-representation and accessibility and how the new regulations applies in achieving the purpose of NetZero. These were mere thoughts until I saw how Angela modelled the possibility of how a mere concept can become fruition with the success of #racetozero. 2024: Testing New Waters and Running the Distance This year was all about "testing new waters." Some of those waters were literal (yes, I navigated rivers with rafting and canoeing!), and others were about exploring new depths in business. 💧 On the professional front: We explored new grounds in desalination and brine treatment, also making waves in wastewater solutions. We dived into new markets and business directions—testing currents and discovering our strengths along the way. 🏃♂️ On the personal side: 2024 wasn’t just about paddling. I also put my endurance to the test by running an Ekiden—a 42 km team relay race shared by 4 members It reminded me that success, both in life and business, is a combination of sprints and steady pacing. This race built the resilience I needed to face challenges head-on at work. We’re still at the start of our journey as a global business, but with projects progressing and a promising pipeline, the foundations are solid. Feels like we’re ready for a sprint forward in 2025!
