A public-private partnership dedicated to creating the foundations for a common approach to sustainable MaaS

About us

The Mobility as a Service (MaaS) Alliance is a public-private partnership, laying the foundation for an open market of new mobility services, centred on users' needs. The MaaS Alliance works toward achieving an open and seamless ecosystem for mobility services. As a leading international MaaS community, the MaaS Alliance brings together all the players in the transport ecosystem – public authorities, start-ups, system integrators and service providers amongst other key stakeholders. The Alliance Members cooperate to create enablers needed for the successful deployment of MaaS in Europe and beyond. The Alliance also supports the roaming and scalability of MaaS services, with a view towards establishing a borderless MaaS system. The MaaS Alliance gathers the leading companies and most progressive public authorities of the field to establish the foundation needed for the MaaS ecosystem and to solve the urgent questions related to technical interoperability, governance and business models and regulatory questions. The working groups within the Alliance bridge innovations with successful implementations and regularly publish Vision papers. Since its establishment, the MaaS Alliance has been growing rapidly in terms of visibility and influence globally, being now a partnership of over 70 members. In 2018, the MaaS Alliance was recognised as the best organisation in the field of MaaS by BMaaS. it also penned a partnership with ITS America agreeing to share global best practices in MaaS and to collaborate to avoid duplication of work when supporting the broad implementation of Mobility as a Service and Mobility on Demand.

Founder & CEO VivaDrive - AI for better and more sustainable mobility

I had a pleasure to present VivaDrive at MaaS Alliance during the Technical Working Group meeting, along with Bon Bakermans - Policy Advisor for Smart Mobility Ministry of Infrastructure and Waterways, who talked about MaaS initiatives in the Netherlands. Myself, apart from talking about our fleet digital twin concept used for fleet decarbonization and management, I raised the issue of a slow uptake of decarbonization and MaaS adoption in corporate mobility in the #CEE region. We have less cash, worse regulations and less readiness to move to the green side. Unfortunately. But we keep working on it. Paul Theyskens - thanks for the invitation! #mobility #sustainability #stayoptimistic
