After the successful workshop in the Municipality of Ljutomer, we continued our journey by organizing a similar workshop in the Municipality of Razkrižje! 🚶♀️🚲🚌 In April 2024, we embarked on creating a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) to introduce a fresh and sustainable approach to traffic planning. Yesterday, in collaboration with the Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia (UIRS), we presented strategic guidelines in Razkrižje and worked with stakeholders to identify impactful and cost-effective measures. These initiatives will address all key aspects of the transportation system and shape the backbone of our Action Plan for sustainable mobility. In April 2024, we embarked on creating Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP), introducing a fresh and sustainable approach to traffic planning. Yesterday, we reached another milestone with a workshop dedicated to developing and selecting measures, starting with Municipality of Ljutomer. In collaboration with Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia (UIRS) we presented strategic guidelines and then worked together to finalize a list of the most impactful and cost-effective actions. These measures, addressing all aspects of the transportation system, will form the backbone of our Action Plan for sustainable mobility. At the workshop in Ljutomer, led by The Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia (UIRS) as part of the NXTLVL Parking project, we discussed the renovation of main square (Glavni trg). Participants expressed a desire for a more "green" square, with additional trees for shade and quality maintenance of green areas. Concerns were raised about inadequate accessibility for people with disabilities, overheating of the square, and a lack of parking spaces. The discussion brought forth proposals to limit traffic and parking in the square and to create a more cohesive and harmonious city image. The NXTLVL Parking project aims to promote sustainable mobility and more livable urban environments. #NXTLVL #SustainableMobility #SquareRenovation

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting exhibitions in Razkrižje, Ljutomer, Veržej, and Križevci! These events were a fantastic opportunity to present the vision and key challenges for traffic in the municipalities. The exhibitions showcased the vision, the process behind its creation, conclusions from the public survey on the state of traffic and suggestions for future improvements across different areas of transport.
