1️⃣ 1️⃣ years in this industry today and one thing I have learned is how much it loves buzzwords - #employeeengagement, #companyculture, #employeeexperience, #employeeappreciation #employeewellbeing #workplacewellbeing...the list goes on. 💡 The bottom line is this: no matter what you call it, ultimately people want to be happy, respected and proud of where they work and what they do. That's what I have experienced with the many mentors, colleagues, friends and clients I have worked with and what we help our clients to deliver. 11 years later and I still love it. Everyone should. And because the average person spends more than 90K+ hours at work throughout their lifetime, I don't think it's too much to ask. We prioritize work more, go above and beyond and challenge ourselves when we love what we do and are appreciated for it. Cheers to more of that over the next 11 👏

🔆Absolutely, Tarachand Verma! Employee appreciation is indeed a fundamental aspect of maintaining a positive and productive work environment. When we recognize the efforts and contributions of our employees, it not only boosts their morale but also fosters a sense of belonging and loyalty. In my experience, one approach that has been highly effective in showing appreciation is personalized recognition. Taking the time to understand each employee's unique strengths and contributions allows us to tailor our appreciation efforts accordingly. Whether it's a handwritten note, a small token of gratitude, or even an opportunity for professional growth, these gestures go a long way in making employees feel valued. Furthermore, creating a culture of gratitude and respect can have ripple effects throughout the organization. When employees witness their peers being recognized and appreciated, it inspires them to strive for excellence as well. This collective motivation ultimately drives team success and propels the organization towards greater achievements. Let's continue to prioritize employee appreciation and create workplaces where every individual feels seen and valued for their contributions.

Celebrating success at work is more than just a feel-good moment; it's a fundamental element for boosting motivation, morale, and creating a positive work environment. Here are some key strategies to foster a culture of recognition and appreciation: 🌟 **Personalized Recognition** is key: Take the time to acknowledge achievements individually through handwritten notes or personal conversations. Tailoring recognition to each person's specific contribution goes a long way in making them feel valued and appreciated. 🎉 **Team-Wide Celebrations**: Organize team lunches, virtual parties, or outings to celebrate milestones together. These events not only mark accomplishments but also build camaraderie and a sense of shared success among team members. ⚖️ **Balanced Approach is Crucial**: Mix spontaneous acknowledgments with planned events to keep recognition fresh and meaningful. Surprising employees with unexpected expressions of gratitude adds an element of delight and reinforces a culture of appreciation. 📣 **Public Shout-Outs Matter**: Utilize all-hands meetings to publicly recognize outstanding work and achievements. Highlighting employees' successes not only acknowledges their efforts but also inspires others to strive for excellence. By incorporating these strategies into your workplace culture, you can create an environment where recognition thrives, motivation soars, and employees feel truly valued. Celebrating Success and Strengthening Connections In the hustle and bustle of achieving our goals, it’s easy to focus solely on tasks and deadlines. But moments of celebration and connection with colleagues are just as important. Yesterday, Workways, Mindful Employer, and Job Retention, had the privilege of spending quality time together, stepping away from the usual work environment to celebrate our achievements and simply enjoy each other's company. These moments of camaraderie remind us that behind every project and milestone are the people who make it all possible. Taking time to celebrate together strengthens bonds, fosters trust, and recharges our collective energy to tackle new challenges. It’s a reminder that success isn’t just about results—it’s about the journey and the relationships we build along the way. To everyone out there, I encourage you to make time for your teams—whether it’s a small gathering, a shared meal, or just a coffee break. It makes a world of difference. #Teamwork #Collaboration #ChristmasCelebrations #CelebratingSuccess #QualityTime Devon Partnership NHS Trust
