In October, we proudly recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), celebrating the invaluable contributions of workers with disabilities. Did you know that 1 in 4 Americans have a disability? It’s a powerful reminder that the people we work alongside every day bring unique skills and perspectives, whether their disabilities are visible or invisible. This year’s theme, "Access to Good Jobs for All," encourages us to not only acknowledge the talents of employees with disabilities but also to actively promote a more inclusive and accessible workplace. By making small changes, we can create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Let’s use this month to learn, share, and advocate for inclusivity—because when everyone has access, we all succeed together. #NDEAM #InclusionMatters #DisabilityAwareness #AccessForAll

October is National Disability Employment Awareness month. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities(UNCRPD), Artice 27 advocates for the active participation in employment. It highlights the need to eliminate discrimination and encourages the creation of inclusive workplaces. Employers are increasingly recognising the value of a diverse workforce, not only from a moral perspective but also as a source of strength and innovation. As a "Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion" by Disability:IN, we are committed to building an inclusive culture and ensuring inclusive design and accessibility in our testing and products. In honor of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, ResMed held a session on 'Disability Inclusion in the Workplace' to better understand how to cultivate an inclusive and safe environment for everyone, where employees learned about the etiquette of working with people of all abilities and across neurodiversity. Conversations like these help us reflect and take action toward making our company and products more inclusive for everyone. #disabilityinclusion #inclusionworks #disabilityIN
