October is National Disability Employment Awareness month. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities(UNCRPD), Artice 27 advocates for the active participation in employment. It highlights the need to eliminate discrimination and encourages the creation of inclusive workplaces. Employers are increasingly recognising the value of a diverse workforce, not only from a moral perspective but also as a source of strength and innovation. By working together to implement the UNCRPD, we can create workplaces where people with disabilities are fully included, and their rights respected. #changinglives #UNCRPD #Disabilityrights 🇺🇳🇮🇪🇪🇺 #inclusion #abilities #recruitment

In October, we proudly recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), celebrating the invaluable contributions of workers with disabilities. Did you know that 1 in 4 Americans have a disability? It’s a powerful reminder that the people we work alongside every day bring unique skills and perspectives, whether their disabilities are visible or invisible. This year’s theme, "Access to Good Jobs for All," encourages us to not only acknowledge the talents of employees with disabilities but also to actively promote a more inclusive and accessible workplace. By making small changes, we can create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Let’s use this month to learn, share, and advocate for inclusivity—because when everyone has access, we all succeed together. #NDEAM #InclusionMatters #DisabilityAwareness #AccessForAll

Congress declared the first week of October as National Employ the Physically Handicapped Week, to be recognized annually.
