Do you want to support a passionate team of students building a race car? Now’s your chance! Be part of the driving force behind our success – the heart of our car, the accumulator. Sponsor a symbolic cell and leave your mark on the FT25! We have decided to organize a sponsorship for the FT again this year. Due to the current economic situation, we have significantly fewer financial resources available. That’s why this season, more than ever, we need to rely on our sponsors and supporters, and we are also hoping for support from our FaSTTUBe community. How can you help? Visit betterplace.org/p147288 to learn more about the sponsorship programs. You can sponsor a cell of the battery and have your name commemorated on the car. Every donation helps and will directly support the development and manufacturing of the FT25. Together, let’s ensure the FT25 is another resounding success. Thank you for your support!

Ringmen with infectious enthusiasm are worth their weight in gold. Here's why: • Imagine this: you're captivated by a fantastic auction item. Suddenly, a ringman with a radiant smile locks eyes and asks, "Are you ready to take this home?" There's a psychological nudge in that genuine smile, a silent encouragement that creates a positive bidding pressure. People respond more generously to warmth and enthusiasm. • Energy is Contagious: A ringman who exudes excitement creates a ripple effect. Their passion sparks bidding wars, ignites friendly competition, and gets the crowd invested in supporting your mission. It's the difference between a flat auction and an electrifying fundraising experience. •Advocates for Your Cause: The best ringmen become champions for your organization, reminding everyone why they're there. This emotional connection with your mission is key to unlocking donors' generosity. Investing in ringmen with positive energy is an investment in your fundraising success. Looking to take your next charity auction to the next level? Let's chat! #charityauction #fundraising #ringmen #positiveenergy #nonprofit

Decision Mechanism – or 110 Years of Address Labels Have you felt altruistic and donated money only to find a short time later that you are now in possession of enough free address labels from every charity known to humankind? Do you think these non-profits realize that for every person who then feels obligated to give some money, the large portion of us shake our heads at the waste and then feel frustrated by the question of what to do with the largess? I do actually send cards, letters, notes etc. to family and friends but at the rate that I get new supplies of labels it will take me approximately 110 years to use them all. And that’s only if I stop getting them. Since someone invented a cheap and easy way to print personalized address labels about 35 years ago all charities seem to think this is a wonderful way to endear themselves to the populace. Deciding that you can doesn’t mean the same as deciding that you should. Develop a decision mechanism that walks you through both the up and down sides. That really gets to the purpose of your action. Anyone have creative uses for your personalized address labels? Do share. Bonus comment - whyever were all the decision graphics that included people showing only men?!

Today, our team spoke about how critical the first touch in donation processing is. These team members act as the gatekeeper for your organization, deciding the outcome of every item coming through your door. Time and time again, we stress how crucial it is for team members to be informed when deciding whether it should go to e-commerce, retail, salvage, or even the trash, all while processing hundreds if not thousands of items on a daily basis! ♻ 📈 If they make the wrong decision, you risk sinking time and money into product that doesn't belong. 🤑 If they get it right, your business can fuel the mission you all work for. You can rest easy knowing you have done the best you could with your donations received. The question is, how are you ensuring your team is informed? How are you making this decision both easy and efficient?

Hey everyone, we are wanting to do some type of event to help raise money for local Veterans in Southeast Texas. We are working on a large mural for AlphaGraphics Beaumont, where people can stop and take photos in front of it. We'd like to work with an organization that helps our local veterans. We would like to post 2 QR codes on the mural, 1 with their "mission statement" and 1 where people can donate to the organization. Along with the mural, to help raise money we were wanting to plan some type of event. We would love to find other businesses that would be interested in participating and helping with this. Someone who may already be doing something similar. A few of my thoughts are, match donation contributions, have a day where we give out meals to local veterans, provide a fun filled day for their children. If you have any ideas, thoughts, potential business partners, etc.. please provide feedback. share share share

THIS 🧞♂️ THING IS QUITE IMPRESSIVE Even if we do say so ourselves 😝 Static tipping or Charitable donations we must get asked for something like this at least 1 or 2 times a week, Nothing existed that we felt answered the needs of customers. So we built something instead. These TIP or donation amounts are configurable from your lamp, in this case demonstrated from my mobile phone! 📱 Another very very cool feature of what we believe to be the first NEXT GEN payment application. Want to sell the genie? 📧 recruitment@mwbsolutions.co.uk

So much value in this Ted talk. We need to reframe how we think about “charity work” and re-look at it with a business lens - where overhead financing is not forced to cover the bare bones, if that, but instead fully funded to what is needed to operate a business in order for the mission to be successful.
Dan Pallotta: The way we think about charity is dead wrong

Donating shares of a security with a large embedded gain can offer a variety of benefits. The most obvious is the deduction for the donation, and the benefit the charity is going to get from utilizing those assets for the benefits of others. The second is you are removing large gains out of your account tax-free. The last is, this is a great tool to rebalance your portfolio without incurring taxes. Nvidia is a great example. If you have bought this over the past... well, pretty much ever, you are likely up a substantial amount. Therefore, it could be a much larger percentage of your portfolio than you intended when you bought it (see rebalancing post), but selling it would incur unwanted taxes. Donating these shares could be a great option. #Charitable #Planning
