People ask me: How do you run a proper rally event for your fundraiser? Here are three key elements: 1. The Inspiration 2. The Need 3. The Call To Action The Inspiration: (People tend to skip this one, but it's super crucial) It's easy to assume that the people you invite to a rally event are "already inspired", but to run a fundraising campaign, they'll need some extra love in that area. Maybe remind them how special your school/organization is by showing some recent impacts. The Need: Why are we running this campaign? Be TRANSPARENT!! Let them know exactly why we need money. You don't have to go TOO much into detail, but to get people on board and to get those same people to take action, they have to know why and how they help by doing so. The Call To Action: Once they've been inspired and understand the need, they will fully understand that by them taking on personal goals, THAT'S the best way to help. And they want to help. I am delighted to share that CooperVision and CooperVoice – Employee Forum have completed a two-year partnership and fundraising effort for Southampton Hospitals Charity – Southampton Children Hospital. With ALL our colleagues' generous support from Delta Park, MountPark, and Brunel Way, we raised an impressive £30,000 throughout many the series of events.   The team's dedication to making a difference in the lives of children and their families was recently celebrated in a discreet manner. Representatives from CooperVoice and the Distribution & Packaging Senior Managers Andrew Hinton and Gary Lonsdale presented the cheque to Beth Head of Charity Operations.   This success is a testament to the power of collective action to create positive change and inspire others to join in the spirit of giving. I am proud to be a part of this community of caring individuals who strive to make a difference in the world.
