The Transport Research Arena (TRA), is the foremost European transport event that covers all transport modes and all aspects of mobility. In 2024, TRA will take place in Dublin, Ireland. The conference provides a unique opportunity to hear about mobility trends in different parts of Europe, learn from achievements in the industry as well as share best practices of policies and deployments. This year's theme is “Transport Transitions: Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility”. UPPER Project EU will be extensively represented in Dublin by a rather big delegation. Yesterday the European Passengers' Federation spoke about the #MAAR concept and the Ruter As Oslo best practice. Project coordinator Mircea Florin Steriu was also actively promoting our work in another session focused on ‘100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030’ highlighting the best examples from Dublin with Francesco Pilla and other cities including those of UPPER. Today and tomorrow two more sessions, hosted at the UITP's stand, will focus respectively on software tools developed in the project and on the measures that Oslo and Thessaloniki will implement in the project.
