For years we’ve used “AI” as a buzzword to sell software; the technology underlying that software had some actual AI components, but campaigns were more about the sizzle than the substance. Then we get into the nuances of authorship and artistry. I’ve spent decades building relationships with talented content creators. I value their work, and I value them. We’ve all been in the room when a senior exec suggests that we “just use ChatGPT” to create a blog post—as if it’s a 1:1 substitute—and it’s depressing at best.
