High Resolution Site Characterization & Optimized In-Situ Remediation Services

Good time catching up with many of our clients and friends at the 2024 #REMTEC Conference this week, chatting about new ideas for characterization and remediation of #PFAS, and of course those "traditional" #COCs (#TCE, #BTEX, #LNAPL, #DNAPL, etc.), and my favorite topic, #Remediation #Geology ! The winners of our famous fossil/mineral raffle at this event are: clockwise, Ryan Swanson (HGL) with the Black Marble Ammonite fossil plate 100-150 million years old) from Morocco, and both Jon Polonsky (Soli Technical) and Vincent E. Barlock (Baseline) won a 5-6" long Phacops Trilobite (350-420 millon years old), also from Morocco. Hard to believe you can hold stuff that old in your hand. To make sure your plumes don't get that old, call us today! 😃

  • LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP FOR REMFEST 2024 DENVER! You may have attended the previous Environmental Professionals Industry Charities (EPIC) event that was done in cooperation with Enviro-Workshops back in 2022(?). This year, Jay Zandell, the co-founder of EPIC, is running this just through his new company, Vykinz.  There will be an event in Denver, Salt Lake City, and Arizona this year. See Agenda and Register Here: https://lnkd.in/gck-9GG7 It will be a similar full day format with speakers and panels in the morning, and some afternoon fun networking activities in the afternoon, and will be held at Dave & Busters. This year, the topics (to be announced) will be a broad range of environmental concerns, and we are assembling speakers and panels from ECMC, CDPHE, EPA, Mining Reclamation, OPS, along with some consultants and attorneys. Admission will be free, paid for by the vendor and consultant sponsors who will have table space, and Professional Associations will be welcomed with a space as well. Of course, our mission is to raise funds for environmental scholarships, assisting young environmental professionals and students with registrations, mentorship, creating networks, and other charitable causes that bridge them to the environmental science industry members and community. Please review the attached flier and consider participating in one or more events this year. We look forward to seeing you there.

  • What an incredible experience Vista GeoScience had at the SAME Omaha Industry Days event at the CHI Health Center Arena and Convention Center last week! Engaging with the community at the intersection of environmental science and military engineering was truly inspiring. We were thrilled to connect with so many passionate professionals dedicated to advancing our industry's impact on both environmental sustainability and military operations. A big highlight of our time was hosting the Fossil/Mineral Raffle! Congratulations to John Esada from Silver Mountain a NorthWind company for winning the amazing trilobite, and to Madeleine Kaiser from HDR (picture being sent :)) for taking home the stunning pyrite. Your enthusiasm and support mean the world to us! Special thank you to Evelyn and Violet for their help with the picking the names out of the raffle bowl. It's heartwarming to see young minds eager to contribute to our environment's future. This week, you will find us at the Colorado Convention Center for the Battelle Chlorinated Conference. Make sure to stop by! Booth 441 #SAMEOmaha #VistaGeoScience #EnvironmentalScience #MilitaryEngineering #FossilRaffle #YoungMinds #Sustainability
