A critical trend we've been warning about—and why so many of our partners are turning to image authenticity to combat this growing threat. As Plaid highlights: "AI is being used to generate fake driver’s licenses, passports, and even deepfake videos when account holders are asked to verify their identities with selfie videos." At Truepic, we're committed to empowering organizations with the tools to verify the authenticity of digital content, ensuring transparency and security in an increasingly AI-driven world. #Authenticity #FraudPrevention #ContentProvenance https://lnkd.in/eEBgd-St

It was an honor to participate in the discussion that Emmanuelle Saliba led about transparency in the age of deepfakes. View the full video for Craig Stack's commentary about the critical role of image verification in mitigating fraud: https://lnkd.in/gFX8ZwSi
"Who here can say they trust their eyes to tell them what's real online? " That was the question I posed to the Frenchfounders audience at Goldman Sachs in October where I had the pleasure of hosting a panel on how we can regain trust in an age of malicious generative AI. I spent the first five minutes or so testing the audience to see if they could recognize AI generated images. We then had Gregoire Assemat Tessandier GetReal Labs and Truepic talk about how their companies were offering solutions to this complex problem.
