It's your #audiance silly!! What's the critical detail for the #event your planning? Yup it's your guest list. But who are they what do they need and how will you give it to them? You could start with an #industry focus, an interesting topic and the take aways you can create. Then invite the people you know who will find value in it. I like to go the opposite way on this. Choose a single person. Plan your content for them specifically. The invite people who have the same needs. Changing #tactics As I took this picture, I thought "Wow! Gnawing on the bone to get the last scraps is aggressive. I love it". It was a major shift in tactics. Moments before, we were eating meat that was sliced for us and plated beautifully on heated platters. As the good bits were devoured, we stripped meat off the fattier chunks and gristle. These are some of the tastier bits for sure. Then... Ben picked up the bone. In sales, this situation plays out all the time. We have periods of heavy activity meeting with interested prospects with budgets and closing deals. This is the juicy, easy to get meat in sales. Then we may have periods of aminic #pipelines.
