Hear what the industry says about #fyuz... Via Laurent Leboucher, Group Chief Technology Officer Orange “The one between Artificial Intelligence and telecom networks. AI is literally transforming networks, making them smarter, faster, and more resilient. From optimizing technician schedules and automating intervention reports to real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance, the results are already remarkable. But it doesn’t stop there. AI drives networks, and networks, in turn, amplify AI! “ Learn more about TelcoAI project group: https://lnkd.in/d5YkR8uP Apply for membership: https://lnkd.in/dQh8hki #telecom #telco #fyuz #innovation #telecominfraproject

Ciena is proud to have participated in the IP over DWDM Proof of Concept (PoC) recently completed by the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) Open Optical & Packet Transport (OOPT) project group under the guidance of the MANTRA subgroup. This PoC was built to evaluate the integration of ZR/ZR+ optics in an open disaggregated IP router through the standard OIF Common Management Interface or CMIS and the open management of the ZR/ZR+ coherent pluggable using the router’s management interface relying on OpenConfig-based NETCONF/gNMI open interface. 𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗫 𝗦𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝘆𝘂𝘇 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 At #Fyuz24, many experts gathered to passionately discuss the future of Open RAN technology. Our CTO, Dr. Sadayuki Abeta, spoke in 4 panel sessions! It was a valuable opportunity to speak and share our efforts, especially about our initiatives in Southeast Asia. The keyword for this event was definitely "AI-based automation." The greatest benefit of implementing Open RAN is the intelligence and automation in operations. However, Open RAN is still a new technology, and it is essential to develop engineers on a global scale to make this successful. OREX SAI would like to further strengthen our initiatives in this field. There was a question in one panel session: "How would you describe Open RAN in one word?" The speakers responded with words like "#innovation" and "#excitement." This year's Fyuz was surely an inspiring event that gave us the feel of the beginning of innovation. We will continue to take on challenges to open up the future of Open RAN. The panel sessions in which OREX SAI appeared were as follows: ■𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 - 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 Caroline Chan (Intel Corporation), Petr Ledl (T-Mobile), Atoosa Hatefi (Orange), Jaisha Wray (National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA))). ■𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻, 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗔𝗡 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜: 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗡𝗧𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗔 Juan Carlos Garcia(NTT DATA, Inc.), Ather Chaudhry (Red Hat ), Kevin Holley (BT Group), Francisco Martín Pignatelli (Vodafone) ■𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁 & 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮-𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘀 (Virgin Media O2 Business) Amit Kaushal(Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB)), Dean Bubley (Disruptive Analysis) ■𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰-𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮 Vishal Mathur (Telecom Infra Project), Lia Yuldinawati (Telkom University), Muammar Nurdin(Meta), Desmond Cheung (Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison), Danielle A.
