🎉 Our teams in the US and Bristol office celebrated the holiday season with a fun event filled with laughter and team spirit! 🎄 At our US office 🎁 From the giant saran wrap ball challenge to Holiday Bingo, raffles, and a Yankee Swap, the games were a hit. We also took time to learn about the meaningful traditions of Hanukkah and Christmas, highlighting the diversity that enriches our team. At our Bristol office 🎁 We kicked things off with games and laughter at a local arcade and wrapped it up with a festive meal. With great food and company, we created wonderful memories. Happy holidays, everyone! Thank you to Amber Bedard and the HR team for organizing these events.

Today, at the “Accelerating Digital Transformation in Africa: U.S.-Africa Partnerships in Focus” panel at Africa Tech Festival, our VP of Sales for ME & Africa, Ramin Attari, shared insights on the balance between innovation and regulation within telecommunications. It was a dynamic discussion led by Joy Basu—thank you to U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) for creating this important conversation! 💬 "For operators, balancing performance KPIs, total cost of ownership, and cash flow is essential," Ramin highlighted. "These factors shape how we, at Parallel Wireless, help operators build open, flexible, and economically viable radio access networks." Ramin also addressed regulatory challenges and advantages: ✔️Universal Access Fund: In countries like Nigeria and the DRC, funding success-based connectivity projects presents hurdles, as operators face a gap between initial investment and reimbursement. Regulatory frameworks could bridge this gap with accessible, affordable bridge financing. ✔️Collaborative infrastructure models: Policies allowing operators to partner with tower companies or systems integrators in underserved areas have been impactful. This revenue-sharing model connects remote communities, incentivizes integrators, and expands operators' coverage. The public and private sector handshake is crucial for enabling innovation and overcoming connectivity challenges, and ensuring widespread access.
