    Números não mentem. E os da Comic Con Chile foram superlativos. Ainda que visitantes, jornalistas e influenciadores tenham informalmente eleito o estande da Roku como o melhor do evento, algumas cifram comprovam: 1297 lutas no ringue de combate Roku, 1312 "fútbolitos" em dupla, 274 casamentos realizados na capela Roku e cinco mil brindes, entre cupons de assinatura, adesivos, pins, ímãs, bonés, pelúcias. Orquestrar fornecedores como agências de influência, redes sociais e PR e produtoras de conteúdo, além de organizar calendários de publicação já seria desafiador, mas em eventos há sempre o imprevisível e a Lei de Murphy. Que fazem parte de um evento deste tamanho: foram 60 mil participantes! Mas, depois que passa a loucura, é certo que com criatividade, energia e garra nosso time deslumbrou esses visitantes todos e ajudou a posicionar a marca e os produtos Roku no centro da indústria de streaming no Chile. Essa foi minha terceira Comic Con e não paro de aprender: 🛸 A comunidade geek é um mercado à parte, em expansão. Estamos impactando apenas a ponta do iceberg. 🛸 As pessoas em geral gostam de pertencer. Veem, tocam, participam, experimentam, sugerem, criticam. Ninguém aceita ser passivo em eventos. 🛸 Cada vez mais, tudo vive nas redes sociais. Se fui e não postei então não fui. Como eu fui, aproveito para dividir o momento enquanto aqueço os motores para minha quarta Comic Con, a versão brasileira que é fenômeno global. A CCXP 24 abre as portas no dia 5 de dezembro. Até lá! Juan Pablo Caruso, Luis Bianchi, Benjamin Garnica, Alex Dalesio, Elijah J Degen 🚀 Numbers don’t lie. And those from Comic Con Chile were exceptional. Although visitors, journalists, and influencers informally voted the Roku booth as the best, some figures prove it: 1,297 tag team battles, 1,312 "fútbolitos" games, 274 weddings at the Roku chapel, and the distribution of 5,000 giveaways, including free subscription coupons, stickers, pins, magnets, caps, and plushies. Orchestrating vendors such as influence marketing, social media and PR agencies and content production companies, along with coordinating social grids, would already be challenging. On top, dealing with unforeseen issues and problems is part of an event of this size: 60,000 visitors! But after it's all done, I'm sure that with creativity, energy, and determination, our team delighted these thousands of people and helped position Roku at the center of the streaming industry in this market. This was my third Comic Con and I never stop learning: 1. Geeks are a community in expansion, and we are only scratching the surface. 2. People like to belong. They want to experience, try, touch, suggest, criticize. 3. More and more, everything live on social media. It’s almost as if I went and didn’t post, then I didn’t go. Since I was actively there, sharing my story while warm up for the epic phenomenon that is the Brazilian version, open to the public on December 5. See ya!

    In honor of #VeteransDay, we’re proud to spotlight one of our own veterans and celebrate the relaunch of our #ValorAtRokuERG, which is dedicated to connecting and supporting veterans across the company. 🇺🇸 Meet Catherine Norcom, Sr. Software Engineer based in our Austin, TX office. In her role, she performs threat analyses on Roku’s systems and products, leads innovative offensive security tests, and collaborates closely with engineering teams to strengthen our security. She shares, "I'm also known as a 'hardware hacker' but that's not my formal job title." 👩💻🔒 A former Staff Sergeant (E-5) in the United States Air Force with 10 years of service, Catherine brings a wealth of skills and values from her military background to her work at Roku. ✈️ “In the military, I learned to focus on a task and work hard until it’s complete. I’m very goal-oriented—think ‘on time, on target.’ Just tell me what’s needed, and I’ll take care of the rest. Military service also instills professionalism and high standards, which translates well to the corporate environment.” 🎯 #WeAreRoku
