Today, students from Carlsbad High School’s Energy Pathway had an incredible opportunity to explore career possibilities during a field trip to Plains All American in Midland, Texas! The day began with an overview of Plains All American’s operations, emphasizing the connections between pipeline and trucking functions. Students also had the chance to hear from representatives in Operations, Trucking, and Engineering, who shared insights on their critical roles in safely delivering energy and the many career opportunities available in these fields. One of the highlights was touring the Control Center, where students learned about the essential role it plays in monitoring assets and ensuring smooth operations. A huge thank you to Plains All American for hosting this inspiring and educational experience and for supporting the future leaders of the energy industry!
