Become a Hanwha Philly Shipyard Apprentice! Applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2025 Apprenticeship program. Interested individuals can apply to join Cohort 18, which will start in March 2025. Additionally, we invite prospective applicants to an information session on Tuesday, January 7th. This session will provide an overview of the program, followed by a tour of the shipyard, offering an inside look at your future career. Hanwha Philly Shipyard is seeking an individual with strong commercial construction background. A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of contracts, legal documents, and construction regulations with specific focus on City of Philadelphia building regulations. The Senior Construction Project Manager will possess the ability to manage complex projects alongside multiple stakeholders, as they will assume responsibility for all infrastructure improvements across the shipyard and will need to be able to manage multiple projects at once. Meet Casey, who’s thriving in our supportive environment! The bonds formed here are just as valuable as the skills learned. Reflecting on their time at Philly Shipyard, Casey shared, “My most memorable experience was finishing up the academy and finally getting out into the yard. I challenged myself and saw real progress. The apprenticeship taught me to learn from my failures and strive to be better every day.” 🤝 What sets our program apart? It’s the amazing community! Casey emphasized the camaraderie among apprentices: “The best thing about being an apprentice is being surrounded by people in my shop who want to see me succeed.
