The OBA is proud to recognize S. Randolph (Randy) Compton, former president, CEO, and board chairman of Pioneer Trust Bank, as the newest inductee into the Oregon Bankers Hall of Fame. With an extraordinary 49-year career—47 of those at Pioneer Trust Bank—Randy’s contributions to Oregon’s banking industry and his community have set a gold standard for leadership and service. As a third-generation leader of the family-owned bank, Randy helped preserve the bank’s legacy as a cornerstone of independent community banking. His impact didn’t stop at the bank’s doors. Randy’s commitment to public service and access to justice earned him accolades like the Henry H. Hewitt Access to Justice Award and the Oregon State Bar President’s Public Leadership Award, a testament to decades of dedication to causes like the Oregon Law Foundation. Randy Compton now joins an elite group of 85 leaders whose vision, service, and values have shaped Oregon’s banking industry and communities.
