“It is time for women,” declared Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum in her historic inauguration speech on October 1, 2024. As Mexico’s first female president in over 200 years, Sheinbaum's leadership is a monumental turning point in the nation’s political landscape, marking the beginning of a new era of equality and progress. With unwavering conviction, she proclaimed, “For those who dreamed of a world where our sex would not define our destiny—whether we were born women or men—this is the moment when we prove that dreams, no matter the obstacles, can and will be achieved.” Her words were more than a statement of intent; they were a resounding call for an end to gender-based limitations, a bold assertion of the power of women to lead, inspire, and shape the future. As Mexico’s first female president, Sheinbaum shatters the long-standing barriers of political exclusion, making history not just for herself, but for every woman who dared to imagine a future where their ambitions could be realized without discrimination. Given her impact, she has made Forbes’ 2024 Power Women list that shines a spotlight on 100 extraordinary women who are reshaping industries worldwide. From finance and technology to media and beyond, these women collectively command an astounding $33 trillion in economic power and influence more than 1 billion people. Their impact is undeniable, and their influence reaches far and wide. Congratulations to all the women who made this prestigious list, blazing trails for future generations of leaders. The world is watching as women continue to rise to positions of power and make history! Read the Forbes article here: https://bit.ly/3Nf2icV #womenleaders #latinaleaders

On the day Lean In was published eleven years ago, they started #LeanInCircles ⭕️ —small groups of women who pursue their dreams together. This year, Lean In hit an amazing milestone: 100,000+ women have started Lean In Circles in over 180 countries. Too often, the world tells women why they can’t do something. But time and time again, their members, including Lean In Latinas, say Circles are the ones who tell them they can. Eighty-five percent of members attribute a positive life change to their Lean In Circle, and almost two-thirds have taken on a new challenge since joining.
