This holiday season, we were thrilled to host a special community event at our South San Francisco lab campus, The Cove.   The Grinch (played by Erin Thompson, chief engineer) tried to steal Christmas at our annual Cove-Ville event, but thankfully, the South San Francisco Police Department and the SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO FIRE DEPT were there to save the day! Two bins of toys were delivered to children in need this holiday season, and our tenants enjoyed other festive fun activities, including a special visit from reindeer, lively music, cookie and ornament decorating, gingerbread house contests, and delicious food offerings from our onsite restaurant, Foundry & Lux. As the holiday season approaches, Healthpeak is proud to support our communities through annual gift drives, spreading cheer to families in need. In Milwaukee, our team was excited to return to Next Door Milwaukee, which provides local families with free early childhood education, medical care, and essential support services. In Nashville, we’ve continued our partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities to collect gifts that bring comfort, care, and hope to families with children who are hospitalized. Last week, our Healthpeak property management team members in South San Francisco partnered with Life Science Cares Bay Area to stuff 150 holiday stockings for Family House Inc. This local non-profit provides temporary housing for families with children who have traveled to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital to receive treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. The event was a fantastic opportunity for us to grow as a team, embody our WE CARE core values, and, most importantly, bring some joy to families facing challenges this holiday season.
