An emergency room doctor at Exceptional Community Hospital in Maricopa, Arizona, says it was a 14-year-old girl scout’s quick actions that led to saving her little brother’s life. “I had the privilege of witnessing her bravery firsthand, and I believe her actions warrant special recognition from the Girl Scouts organization,” said Dr. Timothy Johns in a letter to InMaricopa describing how Estrella Vaca responsibly reacted in a life-threatening situation.
