About us

I am a warrior for people's hearts. When it comes to our marriages, there is no “tomorrow.” When it comes to our relationships, there is no “tomorrow.” When it comes to our children, there is no “tomorrow.” When it comes to our happiness, our health, and our legacy, there is no “tomorrow.” Marriages, relationships, and children suffering from digital addictions or harmful online habits need help NOW... ● 70 percent of men and 40 percent of women use pornography frequently, with 11 percent of men (18 million) and 3 percent of women (5 million) reporting being addicted. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7044607/ ● Since the arrival of the iPhone and social media in 2007, suicide rates have doubled. ● One survey of divorce lawyers showed that 57% of divorces in the US, involve digital infidelity. ● On average a child spends 44 hours a week on their screen. Teenage mental health issues and harmful habits are being recorded at rates never before seen. ...and I am uniquely qualified to help them because of my gifts, talents, life experiences, and extensive academic training and teaching knowledge. I have created a coaching program that has a 100 percent success rate and comes with a guarantee. Our USP: The Digital Addiction Coaching services are rooted in my passion for restoring relationships and strengthening families - a warrior for people's hearts. I created the DAC family of services based on my 11 years (over 1000 hours) of providing internet safety training and addiction recovery services to students, parents, and educators, and 20 years of digital addiction sobriety. I can not stand by any longer and witness individuals, couples, and families struggling with digital addiction, such as pornography, gaming, or gambling, and not getting help due to the stigmas and availability that accompany these issues. Head to our site for a free digital detox session with me.

  • Introduction to Digital Addiction Coach, the only digital addiction coaching service that guarantees success for its clients and has a 100 percent success rate! Are you ashamed about what you look at online? Are your online habits a closely guarded secret? Do you live in constant fear that you are going to be found out? If you’ve felt the sting of lost marriages, relationships, and friendships because of what you do online…I’m talking to you. My name is John Winstanley…The Digital Addiction Coach and I’ve created the first digital rehab program proven to break you free from online pornography addiction/ unwanted sexual behavior / digital sexual brokenness. For twenty years, I’ve walked the path of sobriety, and now, I’m here to show YOU the same path and overcome this insidious addiction once and for all. In my digital rehab program, RADD, you’ll have all the personalized support you need to overcome your challenges and face your demons. Unlike other coaching programs, you are not handed off to assistants and made to do a bunch of busy work and reading. You will be working 1:1 with me, where I roll up my sleeves and get to work for you. Here’s how RADD works: Phase I: LOCK DOWN↓▼ We start by securing your devices, cutting off the source of your addiction. Working together, we’ll dig deep to understand what purpose your addiction serves in your life and replace it with healthier alternatives. By the way…that is critical…the universe abhors a vacuum…so we need to find replacements where your addiction used to be.  I’ll be with you, teaching you strategies to manage your thoughts and impulses. I’ll be in your pocket between these sessions, providing daily support and encouragement via a dedicated encrypted text line.   Step 2: SkillUp↑▲ Next, you’ll master Rapid Relapse and trigger-killer techniques based on cognitive-behavioral therapy and tailored to your journey of recovery. Armed with these powerful techniques, you’ll be able to effectively combat your urges and retain your brain's behaviors while tackling the side effects of digital withdrawal, including brain fog, low energy, ED, anxiety, and emotional numbness. We'll also work on quieting that annoying, hostile inner critic, controlling your eyes, learning from your slip-ups, and learning positive ways to self-soothe. These life adjustments will start you on a solid path of recovery and give you a sense of digital balance in your life that you have been craving. Phase III: MoveForward→▶ In our final sessions, we will work on creating your own road map to living life in recovery—not a life of struggle and sacrifice but one of dignity and completeness—a new life full of endless possibilities where relationships and careers are restored. I’ll help you:  set and defend healthy boundaries, learn conflict resolution and reconciliation skills to heal relationships

  • 😎WOW! This cognitive behavioral therapy coaching class that was recommended to me by one of my therapist partners is like trying to drink water from the transcontinental pipeline! TONs📑of great information, training, examples, and worksheets. When I created Digital Addiction Coach, I made sure that I set aside time each year for continuing education. It is an ever-changing topic...and I want to make sure my clients are getting the best help there is!

  • #catfishing #dating #creepitreal Check out this great article by Skip Myers, CIST and use it as a discussion starter with your teenagers. Here are some @digtialaddictioncoach tips: Have this conversation in a car (so that they can't escape, lol) and start with the words:" I remember when I was deceived (insert your story). Have you ever had anything like that happen to you...or one of your friends?"

The Secret World of Catfishing: Unmasking the Deceptive and Malicious Tactics Used by Scammers to Target YOU! Skip Myers From a cybercrime perspective, catfishing refers to creating a fake online persona to deceive someone for malicious purposes. So, what do these scammers do? They create fake profiles on social media, dating apps, or other online platforms. Using stolen photos or other personal information makes the persona seem more believable. One tactic used by scammers is to fake emotional connections such as romantic interest or friendship to gain the victim's trust. They manipulate the victim into sharing personal information and financial details or engaging in compromising activities.
