It is never about me or any coach talking a potential client into it if they have doubts. There is a difference between selling and pushing. Selling is why I am the best coach for them: Why my process and methodology are the ones that will get them results. That is how you win their trust—selling but not pushing. When you push yourself on them and do everything you can to curb their doubt, you talk them into something they are not ready for. The results will reflect their unpreparedness and lack of commitment to the program, process, and strategies.

Well, this is something you address in the beginning. It is essential to have faith in the process. Couple of points to keep in mind: ➡️ Explain the client that it takes time. The process of life coaching is slow but gives long term results. ➡️ Make sure to track even the small improvements and achievements. Whenever doubt appears a small glance at the achievements can boost confidence. ➡️ Keep doing research together on different case studies. People who are getting benefitted from the process. ➡️ Keep the goal in mind. Keep reminding the client their goals and motivate them to achieve the goals. As a life coach it is essential to walk the talk. If you do it your client will instinctively follow.

As leadership coaches we "earn the right" to have our client's trust by being present and listening. Whether we do it online or in person doesn't matter. What does matter is using ourselves as instruments to tune into the pain and the inspirational possibilities our clients describe to us. We want to know what they experienced and if they trust at a deeper level, what they're experiencing now. Best case scenario, each coaching session becomes somewhat cathartic or transformational and should leave our client in an increased sense of awareness, moving from skepticism to greater belief in themselves. When we do our best work as coaches, we are alchemists, turning skepticism into self-affirmation.This is amazing work! We are gratefully in it.

Hoy quiero recordar y compartir uno de los principios del modelo con el que trabajo y abordo mis procesos de coaching: la persona como un: “ser de encuentro, con todo el potencial para alcanzar su plenitud y libre buscador de sentido”. Considerar que la persona tiene ese potencial conlleva a situar la confianza en “primera línea” y como un pilar básico en la relación de coaching. Y aquí, es donde hoy quiero detenerme… Confianza, sí! Confianza, como digo, en ese potencial ilimitado del cliente, en lo que puede llegar a ser o hacer no sólo por lo que ya ha hecho… y en la capacidad para comprender y afrontar su realidad. Ayudar a rendir al máximo de sus posibilidades, a superar barreras y limitaciones para la vida diaria!
