One thing I found very helpful is to communicate daily with your teams. Ensure that everyone is being heard and that they are all able to share their ideas freely. Is always make sure my team understands the goal/ mission and that we all understand what it means to our company and clients to meet that goal. We work with so much different talent and people have so many ways of doing things. At the end of the day we are still reaching the end goal/ target. How we got there will as a group/ team will change as we learn each other. I also allow my team members to be themselves and I teach them that all ideas are great ideas but sometimes some ideas are just not best for that exact moment. 😃

Multiple work preferences can pose a difficulty while streamlining teams and processes. However, the process needs to serve people and not vice versa. One of the many ways in this setup is to acknowledge and respect work preferences and talk about inclusivity. These conversations need to be aligned with bringing in empathy for other team members and not about defending individual work preferences.

Managing a team with diverse work preferences requires flexibility, open communication, and a focus on individual strengths. By fostering an inclusive environment where everyone’s unique contributions are valued and by offering opportunities for growth, collaboration, and recognition, you can motivate your team to work together productively. Inclusivity in the workplace not only improves individual motivation but also strengthens the team as a whole, leading to better results and a more dynamic, innovative work environment. Incorporating training for personality styles can greatly enhance inclusivity and motivation by helping team members understand each other’s preferences, strengths, and communication styles.
