I have found that people change when we challenge them to see things in a new way. Which by default, is different than how they see things. Sharing stats has no emotion. Emotions create change. Highlighting competitors success is essentially teaching the person to compare themselves to another persons path of success. But does this open up someone to explore new industry trends? Why not engage them in discussions about there passions or desires or likes, and let the light and fire you awaken in someone, not through LOGICAL QUESTIONS, but through a sincere empathetic compassion conversation about them, off the clinical script of dozen of questions and not listening or engaging because we already have a f/up question we want to ask?
