To boost my self-confidence before a challenging coaching session, I consider the following: Preparation: Thoroughly review the client's background, goals, and past sessions. Positive Visualization: Visualize successful outcomes and positive interactions. Active Listening: Practice active listening techniques and empathetic responses. Self-Affirmation: Remind myself of my strengths and past successes as a coach. Focus on Growth: Instead of dwelling on challenges, focus on opportunities for positive change.

Some simple techniques to boost confidence in that situation - 1. I am enough and eligible enough to deliver the session and so I am invited. 2. Focus on your past sessions and their success. 3. Keep some pointers to make it look easy for yourself and keep it like a story telling your friend.

I’d take a moment to breathe deeply and remind myself of the lives I’ve already touched. I’d reflect on my strengths and the value I bring, anchoring myself in my purpose. Then, I’d step into the session with the mindset that I’m here to serve, not to be perfect.

A good coach always has a coach too! Let that sink in. If you know you are preparing for a rigid coaching session, lean in and ask for advice or permission to vent. Outside of reaching out to others, utilize strategies that you know fill you up—music, yoga nidra, prayer, or any other thing that gives you positive energy. Remember, no one is perfect, and each opportunity is a chance to learn.
