Leaders must employ tough empathy whilst providing feedback to their employees. And after the conflict resolution conversation if an employee is feeling demotivated, we as leaders must explain our feedback and the reason for that. Explain to them that if we gave feedback only with a view that your employee feels good, there would not be any long term useful outcome or development for the employee. Critical and constructive feedback, even though might be slightly hurtful to gulp in short term would result in long term personality development of the individual.
