Clients missing sessions can be frustrating, but it’s also a chance to reinforce their commitment. Here's what I will work on: 1. Set Clear Expectations upfront: Time=Value 2. Add Accountability: Send reminders and check-ins 3. Understand the 'Why': A missed session often reveals deeper resistance. Address it. 4. Make It Engaging: Share wins, progress, and the ‘why it matters’ to them. Coaching is a partnership, not a transaction. When clients see results, they show up. Every. Single. Time.

Things to do - 1. Talk to the client and listen to the story behind. 2. No judgement here as they try to avoid if they feel judged. 3. Try to revalidate if they have other issues or trust issues with the coach. 4. Appreciate and gain confidence

Cancellation fees are an unfortunate necessity. A lot of coaches feel guilty about charging them, but people seem to be less responsible these days than in the past. It's always good to have some flexibility for clients that let you know in advance, but no shows should be charged based on agreed upon rates.

I’d gently reach out and say, “I’ve noticed you haven’t been able to make our sessions, and I just want to check in, how are you really doing?” I’d let them know I care about their journey and remind them of the dreams they’re working toward. Together, we’d uncover what’s holding them back and find a way to move forward, step by step.

Talk about it. Reach out and say, I noticed we’ve missed a couple of sessions, and I just wanted to check in. Is everything okay on your end?” I let them know that I’m here to support them and that their progress matters to me. Sometimes life gets in the way, so I try to understand what might be causing the missed sessions—whether it's a scheduling issue, feeling overwhelmed, or something else (It could be anything and every feedback is important). Together, we can discuss a plan to help get back on track, whether that’s rescheduling or adjusting the session format. I remind them that consistency is key.
